Crystal Clear - Fantastic Piece
Saw another reviewer disappointed that it wasn't clear, and only a standard plastic. My guess is they didn't realize you have to remove the protective film. Most acrylic pieces are cut, glued, assembled & everything with the film in place because it scratches so easily & that's the only way to ensure a piece remains clear through assembly and shipping. Sometimes the film is stuck a bit at the edges, it kind of gets fused to the edge when the pieces are cut. A sharp fingernail scraped at a corner can work to start lifting it. Personally, I prefer to use a utility knife and ever so gently use the blade to rough up & lift the edge of the film in an inconspicuous corner. Not the safest option, but it is the fastest. Piece is super sturdy and does exactly what I needed. I added peel & stick velcro to the back so I could ensure hold & positioning on the cubicle wall I wanted it on, then just added T-pins to the outer corners for strength and stability.
