I ordered these to go on my air mattress for guest. I always wash sheets first. They came out of the dryer almost winkle free and were still as soft as when I opened them. I don't always use fabric softener when I first wash because I want to see what really needs it and what doesn't. I would use it the next time just to make sure they remain soft. These sheets are simply outstanding! The 100% cotton feels incredibly soft and definitely luxurious. They have almost a satin-like feel, yet are cotton. As soon as you open the package and touch the sheets, you just want to pop them on a bed and lie down. The fabric feels so good against your skin. These sheets remind me of the most comfortable sheets my Grandma had on the beds at her farmhouse - you felt like you were sleeping in a hug. I really love them! The sheets are very well made. The stitching is perfect. So not only do they feel good, they look good, too. We've been using high-quality pure linen sheets for a long time now and love them. I didn't think I'd want something other than linen, but this cotton set is just as luxurious feeling. I love that the sheets are machine washable. I plan on using this set in a guest bedroom at our lake cabin. I don't think our guests are going to want to get out of bed! We've just now started using these sheets, but they do feel like quality that will last a long time. I'll update this review if I discover otherwise after a season of use and many washings. The sheets arrived package in a box that made you feel like you were opening a gift from a high-end department store - a very nice touch. I do not think these are worth $150, at all. The fabric is thin, and it initially kind of feels soft-ish to the hand when you test it, but when you get in bed, it feels like sandpaper on the cheek and bare arms/legs. Maybe multiple washes would make it softer, but why $150 for something that rough? This is absolutely not "5 star luxury". Because it's so rough, fibers of all kinds stick to it, which is also not attractive, and it wrinkles easily, another sign of a lower quality, imo. Compared to a set of 300 thread count organic cotton sheets that I got from Purity Home for less than a third the price (and which are actually soft), these are not worth buying. Considering my experience with these sheets, I don't think I can believe that they're actually 400 count, or if they are, the thread quality is terrible. One last point — I got ivory color, but it really looks more like a very slightly off white/warm white, not the ivory in the picture. Overall, definitely can't recommend these, and I'm very disappointed. Read more

I ordered these sheets for my daughter’s twin bed because from the description I thought they would be very comfortable and nice to sleep in. However, even though they have a high thread count and are made of cotton, they are quite thin. They are of the percale style not soft like linen or thick like flannel. I thought these sheets were nice. Held up well through the first wash. I love the seams but at the end of the day they are 400 thread count and because it's sateen cotton I think they feel like the thread count is a bit higher. The price is a little on the high end. Read more

This is a beautiful, extremely well made, 100% cotton twin sheet set from Lincove, king or queen of all things related to comforters, pillows, and sheets as far as I'm concerned. These gorgeous sheets are made of 100% cotton sateen and have a 400 thread count. These soft, cool sheets are breathable and luxurious and are machine washable, but I couldn't find anything in the listing information about drying them. The best system is to hope for good drying weather and hang these on the line, so they'll come inside smelling like summertime itself. They are machine washable, but no drying instructions are given, at least not where I could see them. The best way to dry sheets always has been and always will be to dry them on the clothesline anyway, so just hope for good weather and hang these up to dry.
