The paper is slightly too smooth to write on. Its not quite the same as writing on a thick magazine, but almost. Causes ink that normal does not smear easily to need extra drying time in order to avoid smearing. Adhesive is sticky, paper thickness is fine. If you pull the note off the stack from the bottom up, it will curl (as all stickies do). You have to pull of from one side of the sticky to the other (i.e. left to right instead of bottom to top).
