I got this cropped trench coat for my daughter thinking it was a stylish twist on a classic piece - lightweight, flattering, and surprisingly versatile for the upcoming change of season. The cotton fabric feels soft and breathable, unlike cheaper blends, and the lining gives it just enough finishing to look polished. It's definitely more fashionable than it is functional - perfect for cool fall days, but probably not the best for harsher weather. The fit runs a little generous - even with a sweater underneath. If you prefer a tighter line, you may want to size down. The belt does help tailor the shape and my daughter liked the adjustable cuffs and double-breasted design. It just looks put-together without trying too hard. But again, this isn't meant for warmth and the material will wrinkle a bit after washing.
