I looked a long time for a lavender perfume with positive reviews, and this was one of the only ones that had all very positive ratings. I just received it today. It is very nice! It definitely has authentic lavender, but it also has a very clean lightly powdery smell to it. It seems like men and women could both wear this. My bottle leaks badly from the top when sprayed. I don’t know if this is a common problem or if it’s only my bottle. Because of this, I ended up putting on a whole lot so I didn’t waste what poured out around the sprayer. The scent seems to last a very long time and is pretty strong. It seems like it would be strong and last long even if I used way less. It has lots of other elements to the scent, although it definitely remains clean and herbal. The other scent notes it mentioned are bergamot, rosemary, geranium, lavandin, rose, cedar, musk, and patchouli. The musk stands out on my skin, but when initially sprayed I definitely could smell all the notes with lavender being the head. I’m a little worried the musk might come off as an older person's scent on myself, but I really like it regardless. It’s very clean smelling. It probably slightly differs with everyone’s body chemistry as to what notes stand out on you. I love that I can smell it even when I’m outdoors. It’s very pleasant. Large quantity begs to be used in a smaller atomizer. I don't use a lot, just a fan behind the ears, on the throat, and and wrists. This fragrance is often mentioned in Regency era books I read. Read more
