This is a thick cable. While there is nothing wrong with that, should you like to wrap / coil them up in a small case to travel with, that might be a bit of a challenge with this one. The cable is four feet long with USB-C plugs on both ends and it is a not-very-flexible dark grey cable that feels like it should hold up well over time. The bag is marked (and product ad states) that this is an 80 Gbps cable. I used a recently acquired 480 Mbps cable to copy a 9.8 GB video file from my laptop (with a 3.1 USB-C port and an SSD) to my three-and-a-half-year-old Samsung Galaxy cellphone. The 480 Mbps cable copied the file in 6:04. While there are a number of factors that could contribute to the transfer rate, I'd like to think that the file transfer speed would / should have been better than the 4:36 since the cable is rated at nearly 200x (two-hundred times) the transfer rate of the other cable. This concern is what contributed to the 4-star rating instead of 5. This cable charged the same cellphone referenced above at 8% in 11 minutes using the USB-C port on the laptop. The 480 Mbps cable added 10% in 11 minutes using a USB-C to USB-C cable in the same laptop port. The bag is marked "fast charging", which seems to not quite be completely accurate. Generally I'd recommend this cable, but the transfer and charge rates MAY not be as high as it is purported to be especially as there could be myriad of reasons why my tests do not match the product specifications.
