After buying 3 different brands/types of mattress toppers I FINALLY found one that is like my old one that is on the queen bed. I got my old queen size 3" topper about 7 years ago used and it has been the best mattress topper I have ever used or been on. I kept trying to find something similar and every single one has been way too soft and I sink in too far. I am a little heavier (5'11" and 190lbs) so I constantly felt like I was sinking into the other ones and could barely get out of bed in the morning (picture a wild animal trying to get out of a hammock) because I was sunk in so far and had zero support. I ended up going with this 2" topper and it was the best purchase I have made. I have slept better the last few nights than I have in months ever since I upgraded to a king-size bed over my old queen. I still maintain my queen bed is more comfortable but have been told the new king with topper is just as comfy, if not more so. I regretted not going with the 3" at first, but I think the 2" is perfect for letting me sink down and be comfortable but then be supported by the medium-firm mattress.
