Lioness Womens Palermo Blazer

I read all the reviews and decided to order the black in a large. I received it yesterday and it is a perfect fit. I am a 36 D, 33" waist and a 39"" hip... It is a bit roomy in the waist but not enough to have it tailored. I can button it and it is not tight... pretty perfect fit given my measurements ;). The material is nice and even though it was folded in the package it came out pretty wrinkle free. The buttons are not lose (or hanging as reported by previous reviewers) on this jacket, although I will snug them down myself with a needle in thread as I don't want to lose any ever. Sleeve is a bit long for me... but again, not long enough that I will get it tailored... but if it bugs me I can always take it in and get it shortened. Also, sleeve is not tight on me and I do not have skinny arms. Also, I think the quality is great and that you probably will not be able to find a similar stylish jacket in this price range... the one that looks almost identical to this one is made by L'Agence and is $595, with 6 buttons down the sleeve vs. 3 on the Lioness version. And, although it is not available on Amazon in white in a large, I did just go to Shopbop and ordered it directly from them for the same price... so don't wait if you think you want a large in white. My guess is they are getting low on inventory and that is why it is no longer available through Amazon. I am looking forward to wearing this stylish jacket thru summer, fall, winter and spring. I’m extremely disappointed with this purchase. The blazer looked decent online, but the quality in person was terrible. The material feels cheap, and the fit is completely off—one arm is cut so tight it’s uncomfortable to move, while the other fits normally. It’s as if the jacket was stitched together from two different sizes. To make matters worse, I was charged a return fee for sending back an obviously defective item. That’s unacceptable. I ordered a 2x and 3x based on measurements given in the specs. I’m not small- I wear an XL in The Gap, Talbots 18/20 etc. Literally couldn’t get an arm into the XXXL. Looked nice overall, cheap buttons but decent jacket Read more

This seems to run a size too small. I can normally wear an xs blazer for a fitted look, and this had such incredibly small shoulders. I got the xs. The rest of the jacket was a tight fit but the shoulder span was ridiculous. You need very tiny shoulders to fit into this xs, and it has no give across the shoulders. The fabric quality is very nice, a little thicker then expected. But those buttons are literally sewn on by one thread! You will need to fix them by hand. For the price, the blazer is fine. It obviously lacks the thick quality of a higher priced blazer , but it is lined and looks cute. You probably will need to reinforce the buttons. The fit is as expected , I just wish it was a little more waist accentuating but for a more casual look it works and I have worn it already a few times. Good for travel. Normally I wear S but found the S a bit loose (depends on the look you are going for) and the XS was a lot better . Usually wear 2-4 size. Read more

I ordered both the med. and large, as some reviews indicated this item in black ran on the small side. Unfortunately is does run small, actually smaller than I expected. waist 30, bust 36f which usually puts me between M/L. wish they made an XL. Still giving this 5 stars because it is a lovely blazer and a win if fits you. Read more
