This stuff is awesome! Super shiny chrome paint. And it's affordable! It takes forever to dry/cure but the results are nothing short of spectacular. Airbrushes right out of the bottle. Great coverage. Super happy with the results. Read more

I used this on some wheels I resin printed. 2 wet coats were applied (it's important that the coats be wet and flow well), with the material direct from the dropper bottle, no thinning required. The results were really good. I let them sit for a couple days before handling and they did not smudge like the popular spray can Chrom(e) from Revell does. I also sprayed a number of other parts for this resin printed kit, everything looks great. The big bottle should be enough to do a dozen or so resin printed kits, depending, of course, on the number of parts needing chrome in each kit. Read more

Really nice stuff. Goes on effortlessly and levels itself perfectly. Looks just like shiny chrome after drying. Included brush works great and this stuff doesn’t leave brush marks. Very forgiving. And with the brush on ease, you save a lot of material over spraying. Will be buying again. Read more

I DO ALOT OF AIRBRUSHING, FOR THE $$ THIS IS IT. DONE ALOT OF TESTS WITH IT ON BLACK, GREY, WHITE PRIMERS & JUST ON BARE PLASTIC, VERY LITTLE DIFFERENCE IN THE LOOK. I'VE RUN IT WITH A .3 & .5 NEEDLE IN THE AIRBRUSH AROUND 20LB. AIR PRESSURE, FOR SMALL PARTS .3 NEDDLE WORKS OK. I'VE EVEN THINNED IT WITH MR. LEVELER 1 TO 1 MIX, LOOKED GREAT. I SHOT IT STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOTTLE NO THINNING ALSO LOOKED GREAT. DOES NOT LIKE HEAT OR HOT AIR OR DEHYDRADER!! TRIED DIFFERENT GLOSS COATINGS, ALL DULLED THE FINISH. MADE IT LOOK LIKE ALLUMINUM, WHICH IS OK IF THATS THE LOOK U ARE GOING FOR. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE, IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO DRY, IT SAYS 72 HRS. BEST RESULTS 2-3 WEEKS. AT 72 HRS U WILL LEAVE FINGERPRINTS! EVEN AFTER DRIED I USE LATEX GLOVES TO HANDEL, IT DOES NOT LIKE BEING BUFFED, IT DULLS. SO, IF U DECHROME PARTS & USE THIS, IT WOULD BE THE FIRST THING I DO TO ALLOW FOR DRY TIME. THE COVERAGE IS GREAT; THE FIRST COAT SHOULD BE A "WET" COAT!! THATS ALL IT TAKES, NO NEED FOR SECOND COAT!! MY HOBBY IS PLASTIC MODEL CARS & AIRPLANES, I WAS PLANNING TO DO P-51 PLANE WITH THIS & CLEAR COAT TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE ALLUMINUM, HOPE IT WORKS!! I HAVE'NT TRIED BRUSHING IT ON WITH A BRUSH. " DRY TIME IS THE ONLY DOWNFALL" Read more

Hands down the best chrome analogue I have found - and it’s far easier to use and much cheaper than the next best stuff. It self-levels, too, so no fretting over brush strokes and dries within a few days instead of weeks like some other chrome paints. It’s more durable than Revell, Ammo, Alclad and Spaz Stix and it doesn’t require a gloss black base coat to work. The clear does not detract much from the effect, either. Seriously, this stuff is magic. If there is a downside to it at all I suppose it would be that it’s a bit thick so very delicate detail could be obscured. Read more

this reminds me of mercury we used to play with when I was a kid (yes I am old...) - the bottle bas a BB so you can shake it and there's a brush attached to the cap. I'm using it on a 1/24 scale plastic car model - specifically for exhaust tip extensions, and man oh man is it chrome shiny. It is very self-leveling as well, and two days later it's a mirror chrome finish. Haven't used it with a regular brush but so far it looks great. Since the car is going in the display case I'm thinking I'll skip the varnish coat as many people here say that dulls it to look like aluminum - which defeats the purpose of chrome. I've tried Tamiya chrome silver, Hubrol chrome enamel, and chrome ink pens and this stuff blows them all away in terms of looking like chrome. Read more

Good evening, I love the outcome of this product. After it cures out, it seems very good to handle handling with your fingers very well. I will definitly use this product more and on more items. I do a lot of painting, art, plastic model cars etc. The only issue I have with it is that the clear coat seems to dull it down to a aluminium finish verses a very nice "chrome" finish. I'm still playing around with it, not saying it is the product, but could be either that or myself, but will still use it. Without the clear, it is great so far. I'm using the brush on of this product also. Thank you. Read more
