I’m very happy with this LED flush mount ceiling light. It has a clean, modern design that sits close to the ceiling and instantly makes the space feel more updated without drawing unnecessary attention to itself. The low-profile look is perfect for areas with standard or lower ceilings where you still want good light coverage without a bulky fixture. Installation was straightforward and quick. The mounting hardware was solid, the wiring instructions were clear, and everything fit together as expected. Once installed, the light provided excellent brightness with an even distribution—no harsh spots or shadows. It lights the entire room efficiently while still feeling comfortable on the eyes. Another big plus is the LED performance. It turns on instantly, uses very little energy, and gives off a clean, modern light that works well for hallways, bedrooms, or common areas. I bought these to replace a couple of florescent fixtures in a closet. They actually work pretty good and seem to be at least as bright as the fixtures they replaced. Installation was no more difficult than most light fixtures, other than perhaps that it was a little bit hard to get the nuts on the posts unless you have really tiny fingers. Would have been nice if they have given a little more clearance around them. The one downside to these lights is that the "bulb" can't be replaced. If it ever fails, you'll have to replace the entire fixture. If you are using them as a matched set, who knows if you will still be able to get the same style years down the road, so you might end up having to replace both should one go bad. No big deal if you're a DIY'er that is comfortable wiring a ceiling light, but if you're needing to pay an electrician, that could get expensive. But we'll assume they are going to last a good long time. As long as that comes true, I think they are a great value for the price. Read more
These ceiling mounted LED lights are awesome. I ordered them after a power surge knocked out the pair that lit the steps to my basement and I was a bit concerned that the installation process would be a chore, but within 20 minutes the job was done. The fixtures are very cost effective and that in itself means there were compromises. PROS: * The price was unbelievable * Easy install, with minimal experience required * Only need a screwdriver, all the other components were included CONS: * Construction not very sturdy (still good for the price) * The low dimmer position is almost as good as off, with little much in the way of range. I needed an LED light fixture I could use to convert a 20 year old Halogen 150w floor lamp. This item was the perfect solution. It is well made, bright, dimmable, relatively inexpensive and what appeared like the perfect solution for my lamp conversion project. It mounted up perfectly in this old floor lamp after removal of the old high-heat electricity sucking 150 w Halogen bulb and fixture. I only needed a quick and easy way to mount this new LED fixture to the lamp. A 1/2" pancake 4" diameter round light fixture box solved that problem. Now I have a bright, dimmable, energy efficient like new floor lamp that is even voice controlled with the use of an Alexa controlled smart electrical outlet. Nice product, bright even cool-white light. Slide on lens works well. There are two issues, though. First, the mounting keyholes are only provided on 3.5" centers, and many ceiling boxes have mounting screws on 4" centers. I had to drill two additional holes in the base of the light to line up with my ceiling box. Second, the flange around the perimeter of fixture is very shallow. After mounting, the fixture was not tight to the ceiling, but resting on the flange of the ceiling box about 1/4", which results in a halo of light visible between the fixture and the ceiling; no obvious way to correct this light leak unless caulking is used. I installed one in my walk in closet and one in my small (5'x7') laundry room. In both cases it provides enough light to illuminate the space, and they were relatively easy to install (I did need a bracket to convert from my 3.75" fixture mounts to the 4.25" mount this requires - that bracket was not included, but runs about $2-4 at Home Depot). The color is very white, as opposed to yellow-colored incandescent lights, and my wife and I like this whiter light because it makes the colors of our clothes easier to determine in the closet (under yellow light, navy blue and black often looked alike). When I want to replace another fixture, I will definitely consider these lights again.. Read more
