My client wanted these in his shower I was redoing. I had never used this type of shower shelf before, having always just installed a shower niche. These were really cool and very easy to install. I simply put a bead of liquid nail type adhesive into the grout line and these shelves just slid right into place. Once dry, I put white silicone around it and all was well. Great product! Read more

Whether you're doing a total shower remodel or just want to add some additional shelf space, these stainless steel corner shelves are an inexpensive, easy way to do so. I got these for a shower remodel I'm going to be doing, taking an existing shower down to the studs and re-tiling it. While I could add a shower niche, the main wall of the shower in an exterior wall and I don't want to remove insulation to fit a niche in that wall. Not to mention tiling a niche can be a real pain. These shelves are pretty sturdy, have a nice design (some other shelves have weird patterns for the drain slots that would detract from the rest of the shower, in my opinion) and are stainless so they should hold up to the wet environment. The brushed finish is nice and consistent with no blemishes or other issues that would mar their appearance. I like that the front lip is only a 90 degree bend; some other shelves have a U-shaped lip that I think would catch water and soap scum. Time will tell how these hold up. My only nit with these shelves is that the edges of the slots are sharp from when they were cut (presumably with a CNC laser), which I know is going to chew up cleaning sponges, etc. I wish the manufacturer had taken the time to debur all of the cut edges to make them smoother. Keep things simple and life is EZier and this corner shelf for the shower is indeed simple but attractive and functional. We only needed one, but it’s a two pack, so I gave the extra to a friend.
