Take the risk! I’m so happy I did!
The media could not be loaded. ***Update 6 Months Later*** I was about to update with a “don’t buy the white if you have kids or pets” but before doing so, I decided to give it another chance. Despite potentially compromising the stain-proofing, I’m still pleased with this purchase. The comfort and versatility have never been an issue and are the main things I love about it. Initially, I was fanatical about cleaning every little spot multiple times a day to keep it clean. However, after starting a new job, I no longer had the time for constant cleaning. So, about once a week, I’d use enzyme spray and cloth towels for a quick clean. Eventually, I slacked off and went about 2 months without my intense cleaning routine. I thought the furniture was ruined and that $1500 was down the drain. Before declaring all hope lost, I decided to spend a few hours with my Shark spot upholstery cleaner. To my surprise, everything came out! It looks almost new, aside from a slight grayish discoloration. It’s immaculate again and smells amazing (thanks to a pet-specific cleaning additive). What I thought would be a negative review only took a few hours of steam cleaning to turn around, and it dried super quickly. I’m still very happy with my purchase. I love the look of white furniture, even with kids and animals, and it still looks great to me. Six months later, I’m still happy with it. I usually deep clean any couch I own every month or two regardless of color, but I was concerned about compromising the protective finish on this one. I suppose I’ll find out over time. Included are pictures of all the “stains” it picked up from kids and pets and the results after cleaning. It’s a night and day difference! I still recommend this! I never thought I would ever purchase a couch from Amazon because I’m so particular and even though this one didn’t have many reviews, I really loved the design and color, and of course the fact that all the seats are extra storage (you can never have too much) and it stated it was waterproof, stain proof and scratch proof, well having 5 kids and 2 dogs, everyone thought I was nuts to purchase white but I needed to give it a shot….so I took the risk! I’m SO happy I did! So despite me telling them 2000 times a day NO FOOD in the livingroom ESPECIALLY on the new couch! Think they listen? Well of course not, I mean come on🤷♀️ with that said they have spilt red Hawaiian Punch in it then tried hiding it with a throw pillow (clever) when I found it it was dry and and thought for sure it was not going to come out. Well to my huge surprise, an enzyme stain remover and a few paper towels, a few minutes of rubbing and it was gone! No trace whatsoever!! AMAZING! Oh I haven’t even mentioned the comfort level for me 10/10! Sooo comfortable! PROS: It is in fact waterproof! It is in fact stain resistant! And there isn’t a scratch on it! (Yet) Lots of storage! Comfortable Customizable CONS: If you do not connect the pieces I personally wanted it to be quickly changed if needed they do not stay in place on hardwood (not sure about carpet) it’s frustrating. Not sure this is really a con rather than a why?? lol they sent Dark Blue Pillows with the white selection which are super comfortable but completely clash with my decor… so they stay stored, I think for white the option should be given as to what color accent pillows it comes with. It does pick up marks easily (nothing I couldn’t get out yet) but I need to actively check daily and clean any spots, so for the white if you have many kids and animals like me be prepared I’m also scared the “protectant” will ware off eventually and it’ll start staining 😭 Otherwise, It’s an amazing find and purchase!
