Solid, reliable threadlocker for an engine rebuild
Used this on my recent engine rebuild for a variety of fasteners (brackets, covers, accessory hardware) where I wanted extra insurance against vibration backing bolts out. It applies cleanly, stays where you put it, and cures reliably even when the threads are not absolutely surgically clean. Once it set, everything stayed tight through multiple heat cycles, and I did not have any annoying loosening issues during reassembly and initial run-in. What I like most is the balance: it holds like it should, but it is still removable later with normal hand tools when you need to service something again. The bottle is easy to control, so you can use a small drop without making a mess. As always, follow your service manual on where threadlocker is and is not recommended, but for the spots that call for a medium strength threadlocker, this one delivered. Read more
