I used the Logitech M 215 for many years and was very disappointed when I couldn't find it on Amazon anymore at a reasonable price. I have small hands and the Logitech M 215 fit my hand perfectly, one more reason I was sad that it stopped working. When I found the Logitech M 185 I thought it looked similar so I decided to give it a try. So glad I did!! It is the same small size and basically feels the same AND it costs less than $ 13. Can't beat that!! Heads Up: The M 215 had the red light on the bottom so when I unpacked this one and put the battery in it, I thought it was DOA (dead on arrival) because there was no visible light emanating from the bottom of the mouse. I was about to send it back when I noticed the tiny imprint "Invisible Optic" on the bottom. Mystery solved!! The optical wireless mouse is functioning correctly and flawlessly!! I don't like full sized mice because it feels weird to me having your hand flat on the mouse. So I bought this small mouse so I could place my hand in a claw position, and this mouse is perfect. Honestly its great for casual tasks and even hours of gaming. The fact that its wireless makes it better because you dont have a wire pulling resistance from you. Feels so free! Only reason I give it four stars is because (in photo 2) the matte type finish kind of wears off after a few weeks, leaving your finger and palm placements shiny. but it doesn't bother me too much. It's quieter than other mouses, but it's NOT "silent." Also, the other one I had (which was quieter), died within two years (albeit after heavy daily use). I'll try a different one when this one dies. That said, it ~is~ quieter than other mice, so I can tune it out when my husband games. What can be said about a Logitech Mouse? Yes, it works the way you would expect it to. It is from Logitech. This came with a Logitech keyboard and together it works like you would expect it to. The Amazon price was great. Of course, Prime had it delivered quickly. Did I say that I was happy with the purchase?
