If you need a cheap, but effective wired mouse replacement the Logitech B100 is a good option. It is basic in design with a ridged scroll wheel on top, and two easy to click right & left buttons upfront of browsing the internet, and using alternate PC functions. Very nice mouse, works great. Replaced a much more expensive wireless mouse that constantly disconnected. Very happy with this purchase, sometimes less technology and more simplicity is best. I got this mouse at the start of the year after my old one finally broke just as temp replacement. I planned on replacing this one when it broke just to not have it around after I got a better one, but this stupid thing still works perfectly fine. The only issue is the scroll wheel is a little off but its in general fine. Overall if you want a good mouse for the price and nothing fancy then from personal experience Id recommend it.
