Logitech C615 HD Webcam

My online Masters program required this specific camera for the 2 exams I had to take. Hated to waste the money on it, but it did the job perfectly. I’ll be keeping instead of reselling bc the video quality is far superior to my older laptop’s internal camera. Took some troubleshooting to get it to work on my MacBook, but overall happy with it. Good, versatile, USB Webcam (video camera). It has several modes available. It has a high resolution sensor, but can output a window of that image when in a low resolution output mode. The user can pan around the larger image to aid in aiming the view. Another plus is that the Windows Driver for Logitech can handle more than one of the same model of Logitech USB webcam on my video surveillance system, without them interfering with each other. (I have tried to use multiples of other brands at the same time and there is no way to control which camera's view shows in which window. The displays of each camera will randomly swap windows, or all windows become just one camera's image, and eventually the screen turns blue and the computer rolls over and plays dead.) Read more

I bought C615 for my son's laptop since the built-in camera was not working. Performance-wise, the C615 is a definite upgrade. Much nicer picture, especially in low light. The auto-focus works better than my own web cam which cost a lot more - it's more decisive and accurate. We liked our two but now see that in low light horizontal lines are bothersome. They are really interfering. The company says these models adjust for light. Alas, the compensation for low light is less effective than advertised. Needs to be addressed. Read more

I was spoiled by having a Logitech Brio and really like the fine-tuning Logitune software. I bought this as a second camera for home and to travel with as I liked the swivel feature. But should have done a little homework, this is not in the same league as the Brio and is not compatible with the software so I would say better than laptop camera, but not great like the better and newer Logitechs. So decent value, serves purpose just kind of wish I had spent more. Mine was a refurb which was like new, just box beat up a little. Read more
