The M187 has been my go-to mouse for years. I like the smaller size, especially when I travel. I've tried other "travel" mice and there is no comparison. The others are too flat, too long, or just have crummy buttons and wheels. This Logitech unit has never let me down. Plus, it works great on fabrics and plastic upholstery. It is a nice small mouse but, every time I push it a little to test the sleep mode, if any, it moves on the screen. That tells me that there is no sleep mode and that it will use up the battery in a relatively short time. I have a couple that have a sleep mode and automatically turn off the mouse after a few minutes of non-use -- this isn't one of them. Read more

I had previously ordered one a few months ago and it came in flimsy packaging, and this one was the same way! Even the wireless usb connector was packed outside the mouse, although in the same bag thank goodness.
