Gorgeous rug. High quality and packaged very well. Definitely a great buy! It's so pleasant to look at. With a rug pad underneath, it's perfect. It is soft, not plush of course because of the jute, but you can walk and lay on it and it's not uncomfortable at all. I was worried because I didn't want something stratchy in the living room, but it's a keeper for sure. Adds a lot of warmth to the place. I looked high and low for a neutral rug that had the right feel and color scheme for my dining area. This was the perfect size for my six seater table and I didn't notice any bad smell or shedding.
