What a great set. My son and his girl just bought their first house. This beautiful set was part of their house warming gift. I bought a single pan, for myself and absolutely love it. There are some things you need to do before use, to clean and season the piece. Super simple, directions listed on information card. Packaging is very nice. Padded in bubble wrap, and comes in a seperate bag drawstring bag, that I use to store it in. The skillets come without the long handle attached, there are 4 nuts, 2 extra, and a tool to attach them. A little zippy bag holds the 4 nuts and tool. I appreciate that as I like to clean pan thoroughly every so often. Nice weight to each pan. Since they are stainless, they require starting at a low to medium heat and heating to correct temperature. It cooks evenly and definitely non stick at that point. The lid is glass and very nice and has a vent hole. It's recommended to hand wash, which I always do anyway. I do put the lid in the dish washer, glass lids come out spot free which I like. Always let any pan cool before washing to prevent warping. (A lot of people aren't aware of that.) All in all I am so pleased and was super proud to give the set as a gift. I am going to purchase the 8", 10" and 12" for myself soon. Happy cooking! Read more

Just receive it today and already cooked lunch with it. I started the heat very low, to heat up the pan slowly. When the pan is hot enough (when you throw a bit water in it it will bead up and roll around) pour oil and start the cooking process. I make sure to use no more than medium heat since my stove has high heat output. Following these rules will avoid smoking and sticking in most cases. Today I cooked ground pork and veggie stir fries and nothing stuck. For a moment I went to answer the phone and there was a bit burn. However it was cleaned up easily with a non-scratch sponge and dish soap in hot water, after being soaked in hot water during the entire time of my meal. The soaking prevents any food residue from hardening and keep the burned food bits soft and easily washable. Overall I am very happy with this purchase, and its low price certainly makes it a great value . This wok plus an Instant Pot and a baking sheet are all I ever need in terms of cooking vessels in a small apartment kitchen. Now the cons - none are major deal breakers for me. For one, this wok is a bit on the shallow side for my liking. An extra half an inch of height would be perfect. Also, compared with a carbon steel wok of the same size this is very heavy. Any heavier I wouldn't be able to use it as intended. The lack of a helper handle isn't a big deal in most cases, unless I need to lift a pot full of water or soup. In that case I will have to grab the pan edge with a silicone pot grabber or oven mitt - not ideal but definitely doable. Another con is that the glass lid holds water at its edge. We will see if it leads to anything bad in the future. Overall this is a very nice wok, and it will meet your expectations as long as you know how to cook in stainless steel. I also like the clean and sleek look of the wok. Note that my unit comes with a knob instead of an U-shaped handle on the lid as shown in the product photo. Seller should update the photo to reflect the new lid. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Solid wok. work as designed. You never expect a stainless steel wok without coating to be non-stick. And it turns yellow. Get real. Either scrub it with wiremesh ball or stainless steel cleaning gel. Unfortunately, cover has 2 problems so far. 1, I got a defective cover that leaks air in the edge between glass the steel. When you cooking, you can see bubbles escape from the opening. Confirmed with support that it is a defect. Will replace it later. 2, the lower part of cover handle gets hot. Top part is okay. But the lower half is obviously much hotter, sometimes burning. I understand the concern of microplastic shedding from plastic handles. But I'd really prefer plastic handle that never gets hot so you dont have to be careful everytime you try to lift the cover. 3, it makes this clicking sound like metal expansion noise. Overall, solid wok. Edit: 1 more star for great customer service. Read more

Exactly what I wanted. It’s not too big, not too small & is nice & thick. Not at all flimsy. The handle is easy to put on. I’ve been switching out all my old aluminum & teflon pots for stainless steel as well as getting rid of all black plastic utensils. Read more

I'm really glad I bought this. I was hesitant because of some of the reviews, but none of the 'bad' things came true or happened with my pan. I think the bad reviews were from some kind of misuse. I love that it's big, with a long handle that stays cool. I use this a lot for searing steaks and I can fit a couple of decent sized ribeyes in there or one big chuck roast. The slow, finesse cooking is fine too and, if you do it right, there's no sticking with eggs or any other food. It's easy to clean and looks nice. It's clearly a well-built product. It can still be had as of today for under $30, and that's a no-brainer in my book. Read more

Didn’t realize I had to put the handles on. Have cooked one thing and the inside bottom of the pan was hard to clean. Not sure I’m going to be happy with them but I’m stuck Read more

Used it for a month almost everyday. Very nice wok and easy to fry and easy to clean! It needs lots of oil. Have to heat the wok up first. I used my hand to hover on top of it to feel the heat. Then add oil. When I see the oil lines, its ready to put food. No sticking except frying tofu or bean products. The customer service is very good too. They taught me how to use this wok. One star less is because I can't fry tofu easily. So I use airfryer 400 degree for 20 mins with oil coating. Read more
