These pants are really nice quality. The material feels thick, soft, and comfortable on the skin, and it does not look cheap at all. Right out of the package they needed ironing, but once pressed, the drape looked much better. For reference, I am 5’2” and about 155 lbs, and I usually wear a size large. I ordered these in a large, but I could have sized down to a medium because they gave me quite a bit of room in the waist and hips. Even with that, the fit still felt comfortable and relaxed. As someone who is shorter, pants can be hard to find, but the length on these worked surprisingly well and did not overwhelm my frame. The pictures I included do not show how flattering they look in person. I would recommend them, and I am already thinking about getting more colors. Highlights Thick and soft material that feels more premium Comfortable relaxed fit with room to move Elastic waist with drawstring for easy adjustments Length works well for shorter heights like mine Non see through fabric with a nice weight Looks more flattering in person than expected Improvements They arrive very wrinkled, so they do need ironing before wearing The fit runs generous, so sizing down might work better for some The fabric has a structured feel that may drape differently depending on body shape Summary These wide leg pants are soft, well made, and very comfortable. The fabric has a quality feel, and the overall fit works well even for someone on the shorter side. With a roomy fit and a nice drape once ironed, they can be styled casually or dressed up. I would recommend them and plan to look at more colors. Read more
I am usually a L to XL. I was right in the middle between the L & XL waist sizes, so I got XL to be safe. I got the green and do love the color. (Adding that the 2 side pockets are nice and deep) On sizing, they are pretty loose, but I would rather have that than too tight with this kind of waist band. I think a large would have been painful (for me), the tie does help the looseness. I thought, from all the pics except the ones of the red pants (thought maybe those were a different material) that these would be lighter, more linen-like. There are a stiffer, almost parachute material. Before trying on, i was very unhappy with how they felt. Once on, tho, they were actually pretty comfortable. It was freezing outside when I got those pics tho, and I don't know for sure how they would be in hot weather. Anyway, once I had them on, I actually thought they were kinda fun. I'd wear this and its usually not my style. BUT it definitely needs to be lightly ironed or steamed. In the pics, I'd had it hanging for several days, but from the package, so that's why it looks that way. My tag only said machine wash, and I think, at the time, this page said that too (not sure), so I washed in warm because that's how I roll. (It looks like now, if you can find it, the page does say to wash in cold). But it did now shrink any in the warm wash (and hanging to dry). When I first got it out of the wash, it had these streaks on it that almost looked like I'd had bleach in a previous wash or something (i hadn't). Like paint gone from them. But I couldn't see it at all once they were dry. Oh, I am 5'5" and it came to my feet, but not too long, no tripping, but if you want short pants, these are not that - unless you are over 5'6". I do actually like these, but they were not what I expected. Again, several of the pics look like beachwear type flowy. I didn't think it would exactly be that, but nearer to it. If you don't mind that aspect of them (kinda stiff, but possibly softer after steaming) then I recommend, because at this price point, its a good value. Read more
I really, really LOVE these pants. They’re chic, polished, and extremely comfortable. The fabric has a nice crispness that helps them hold their shape, and the overall fit is flattering without feeling heavy. Sizing was spot on for me, with the only caveat being the length. At 5’3”, these don’t hit as “cropped” on me, but I don’t mind. With strappy sandals and a shorter or tucked top, I think they’ll still look classy and elegant on my vertically challenged frame. The material (65% cotton, 35% spandex) is breathable, soft, and not see-through. I tried them on before and after washing and there was no shrinkage at all. The listing recommends line drying, but I put them in the dryer because that’s how I roll. They came out a bit wrinkly, but that’s normal for cotton blends, and a quick run over with a low-heat iron on the inside will fix that. The seams and stitching are neatly done. The navy color is rich and exactly as advertised. The drawstring waist deserves its own mention. it’s comfortable, adjustable, and still looks clean and fitted. A lot of drawstring pants I have tried give a loose, sack-like effect at the waistband and these don’t do that. They still give shape without feeling or looking sloppy, which I love! I’m usually pretty measured in my reviews, but I genuinely can’t find a downside with these pants and now I want them in several more colors! Highly recommend, a solid five stars. Read more
I absolutely love the fit and style of these palazzo pants! While they're described as casual wear, depending on what you pair these pants with, they could definitely be worn in more formal settings. The soft lightweight fabric has a lovely drape and flow, and the subtle stitched detailing on the wide legs make these pants quite elegant to wear. The sizing for these pants is accurate. The elastic waistband is very comfortable and is adjustable with a drawstring. I really like how the two deep side pockets blend almost invisibly into the pants. These are offered in a nice variety of colors. I chose the "green" color, which is a beautiful medium olive green tone. Read more
