I have ordered a number of "trench" and "mac" rain coats and they are not rain coats but thinly lined jackets. One was the same fabrication as this (cotton/poly %) and I was worried this was going to be shiny but it's not. I read it was lined and really wanted an insulated rain coat or one with a zip out lining for warmth in the winter. This is heavier than the others I tried and has a bit of insulation, enough to keep warm without layers of clothing underneath so this is "PERFECT". London Fog came through, classy, smart and well made. Nice deep pockets, a hood, buttons to the top with a button on the interior to seal yourself up to the neck when it's windy and wet. VERY, VERY happy and for the price, it was less than the others I ordered at Macy's and elsewhere. The belt does not have a buckle but ties, which is what I wanted. The buttons have a bit of a shine to them, a modern touch. Comfortable with room for a cardigan layer if I wanted it. My husband has a London Fog Signature Car Coat and it has a removable liner, he has had it for years. I have a Burberry Mac Coat with a removable wool liner I have had over 20 years that I love but it does not fit me right now. The only improvement I would recommend is having London Fog offer a woman's version with a removable wool or fleece liner, even if just an option and an additional cost. However, this will keep me warm without multiple layers but at times I'd prefer a t shirt to a light weight sweater and it would be nice to have a coat that gave an option of a removable liner. But that is a wish for the future, I'd certainly buy one even if this one is perfect for the cold, wet PNW winters and hoping it lasts as long as our other nice rain "coats". Read more
I’m a little over 5’3” and usually wear 1X but ordered XXL to make sure it wasn’t too long. Fits perfectly and hits at my knee which is what I wanted to wear with mid-knee dresses. Good quality product from London Fog. Read more
I bought this in honor of my mother who loved London Fog. I'm in my 50's now and felt it was time. I love this coat. There are much more expensive trench coats you can buy, but why bother? These coats are fantastic quality and fit. Love it. I bought the xxl in this black and in another color/style I got the 1X plus. It is smaller than the 1X plus, but not terribly so. Fits fine and I can wear a sweater under it. The 1X plus I can wear a blazer or other light jacket beneath it. Read more

I am pleasantly surprised about the quality and looks of this London Fog trench coat. I live in a warm corner of the country and it should b good for three seasons. I am short so it fits well, coming under my knees. Makes me look stylish. Read more
True to size for me and sadly it arrived too late for the day I need it. Actually it arrived the day I needed but I was 2 hrs from home and gone for the rest of the weekend for a formal event by time it arrived. I ordered this due to the high chance of rain that day, along with the fact that my favorite London Fog trench coat no longer fit me. So, now I have to wait for my next rainy formal to wear it. Thanks to all my Star and IORG events, I should not have to wait too long before I can wear it out and about instead of it hanging in my closet. The only down side is it's not the London Fog trench coat I bought years ago that had these neat hook clasps, no belt, but an hour glass figure cut to that one. Oh how I loved that coat but it no longer fits, so I ordered this one. I love this one too, I just miss my old one's hook clasps and lack of belt features. Read more
