I was initially hesitant about this 2-pack of LONGLONG Balaclava Ski Masks because the mouth covering of each mask was a separate cloth piece that needed some adjustment each time I put it on. My previous balaclava experiences were all one-piece with a section that covered up to my nose and mouth. After using this LONGLONG Balaclava Ski Mask for a while, I now think that this is a really well designed balaclava, superior to my prior ones. Having the separately stitched mouth and nose piece allows me to move it higher or lower more easily as needed. The stretchy fabric is also soft, comfortable, and warm without making me overheat. The grey color fabric outlined with black borders is attractive and much better than a one-color knit ski mask. All in all, I found this LONGLONG Balaclava Ski Mask to be a significant advancement in balaclava design and would order it again in the future. Read more

Okay I know you're wondering why in the world I would put a title like that for a balacava review. It's because I didn't get it for skiing or winter sports of any kind or just being outdoors in the winter I picked it up so that my kid would be able to use it with his PlayStation VR2 and not get skin irritation wearing it. These are lightweight so they are perfect for wearing inside with a VR unit of any kind. The the fabric is smooth and non irritating. That extra band that goes across from the back to the front isn't needed for what we needed for but it's still a good addition if you're going to be in cold weather. The neck length is very long so it'll tuck in under your clothing very easily. Looking at prices on Amazon at other balacavas this seems to be about the average price. Recommended. Read more

So I got these, thinking that I'll use them during the colder parts of the year, and the occasional freak-weather incident. When they arrive, I find myself doubly confused. For one thing, the material is incredibly porous, giving little wind-breaking assistance, and allowing breath to collect moisture into it. This makes your next breath significantly less comfortable, and in truly freezing temperatures, could even freeze the garment to your face. Not super fun. The second thing is, I couldn't for the life of me figure out what the weird loop thing on it was; I figured it out later, but i was _genuinely_ surprised and baffled by the loop thing hanging off my head: it's a mouth cover, but i used it as an ear cover. If for some reason you need one of these in the heat, this might be your go-to. If you need it for warmth, do not pass GO, don't collect. Read more
