This is called an ugly sweater but honestly this one isn’t ugly. I wore it for some holiday gatherings, general winter wear, and on a ski trip for après. It is a good weight, soft, and warm, but also fit well under a coat without being too bunchy. I washed it on delicate inside out and hung it dry and did not experience pilling in the knit. I shop a lot on Amazon and find I have to send quite a few items back because they are not as advertised. But this sweater I love. I bought it in a lovely, soft,gray in a size large. I’m 5 foot five and 150 pounds. It fits absolutely perfect, not overly tight, but not too loose. Hits right below my hip, but not too long. And it feels warm and snuggly, and I can’t wait till the weather cools off till I can wear it. I washed it, as I do everything when I get it new. Cold water, light cycle on the machine, and tumble dried it to just damp. Hanging on a hanger for the remainder of drying. No shrinkage, looks great, no pilling. Definitely worth the money. The only thing I could say about it is that the pattern does not continue to the back. The back is solid gray. However, I still love this sweater and would buy it in any color. Read more
Love the quality of this sweater. The fit is slightly oversized with just enough room to put a slim layer underneath without making you look bulky. It is cozy and comfortable. The color is a deeper green than pictured. More of a muted forest green than the vibrant green pictured. Still a fantastic color and festive outfit just not quite what I was expecting. I can't put my finger on it, but the sweater doesn't look as good in person. For some reason it looks frumpy and not flattering. It is a thick, warm material but still feels cheap. I'd say it's just ok. Read more
Stitching is thick and consistent, and the seams are solid. I don’t reconsider this an ugly sweater at all. It’s very flattering. I wish it was cotton but it’s all acrylic. I washed it once in the washing machine and it held up. It got a tad tighter but wearing it made it stretch back to it’s original roominess. Read more
