The media could not be loaded. First off, let me say I was skeptical about these at first. I know how expensive hair removal can be when you get it professionally done. Also extremely painful. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this being it only cost about $100. But I’ve quite enjoyed it and definitely can see a difference in my hair growth getting slower and slower over use. It gives pretty simple instructions on how often and how much to use it. When to start seeing results. As far as pain, when used on the lowest setting, there really isn’t any. It’s mainly just a light heat you feel when you press the button for it to do its flash thing. I accidentally had it on level 3 one day and could tell the difference in strength on the flash and heat. Still was not painful but I could see how it may be a little for some people with less pain tolerance. However, I still don’t see it being unbearable or extreme. If anything maybe a little uncomfortable. I love the sleakness and feel of holding the device too. No super big and bulky huge machine. Overall, I’d say it’s definitely worth the buy. I’ve already noticed after the first few days, my hair growth has slowed down and I’m so excited to see it just stop growing back all together. Highly recommend to try it out. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This laser hair removal device works really well! It's super lightweight and has a digital display on the top to display your settings. The laser recharges super quickly too between flashes so it's much nicer to use than other ones I've tried. It even comes with a couple razors, sunglasses, a sheet so you can keep track of your laser hair removal schedule, as well as an instruction manual that has tons of useful tips and explains the different modes. It's really effective at slowing hair growth, I only shave about once a month now and the hair that does grow is super fine and the quantity is way less. I love it too cause this costs about the price of a session or two for laser hair removal at a clinic so it pays for itself really quickly, plus you can use it anywhere you want on your body which is super convenient (even has different modes for face, bikini, ans body). Highly recommend!! Read more

IPL stands for intense Pulsed Light, and it targets the darkness of hair pigment in the hair follicle to keep the hair from regrowing. This type of technology is known to be an effective permeant hair removal technology. There are even FDA approved IPL devices for home use. This is NOT one of the FDA approved devices. There needs to be a contrast between the color of the hair and the color of the skin for the light to effectively target the hair. This will not work on blonde/red or vellus hairs (those soft light peach-fuzz hairs we all have as mammals.) Nor does this technology work on dark skin as there is not enough contrast for the light to target the hair follicle. There are different technologies for dark skin. I noticed no pain using this device. It’s best to try it on a lower level and then work upward as there is a skin burning potential with this technology. You want to start low and work up to the lowest amount of strength necessary to target the hair follicles. Some light does escape from the sides even when pressed flat to the skin, so I would NOT do a treatment with this device without the included glasses. Not worth the risk to your eye health. The device targets the dark color of the hair in your skin, so it does not work on previously waxed/sugared/tweezed/epilated hairs. If the previous hair removal you’ve done removed the hair under the skin, then stick to shaving for a while prior to trying IPL as otherwise there is no hair in the follicle for the device to target. Not all your hair is in an active growth cycle at the same time, so although IPL technology begins to give you results in weeks/months, it takes much longer to get to a high degree of permanent hair removal. Think a year of treatments or even two! This is true even if you get this procedure (or laser hair removal or electrolysis) done in a doctor’s office. All permanent hair removal takes multiple treatments over time. What you will see in the short term is a reduction in the quantity and thickness of the hairs, increasing over time as you do more treatments. Its effectiveness is determined by how dedicated you are to keeping up with the treatments. Happy hair removal! Read more
