This Luckview BM2A Baby Car Camera was dead-easy to install, is simple to use, and displays crystal clear images. I have not tried the zoom feature because it is unnecessary as will be seen below by how I use it (hint: not as a baby monitor). I bought this Baby Car Camera not because I have to monitor my back seat but because I am an avid DIYer (otherwise known as a honey Do List guy). As such, I am continually loading my car with tools, building supplies, lawn chemicals and the like, which never ever exactly fit into the cargo area and tend to shift around. So, I bought this camera to keep an eye on the load as I drive I mounted the camera on the included stand on the console between the front seats and pointed back into the cargo area and I put the monitor into a convenient opening on the front of the console so I could observe the load while driving. The camera and monitor can be turned on and off using a convenient integrated button on the included cigarette lighter power. The view into the cargo area is great; beautifully sharp and steady. And even though I have yet to load supplies (soon, I am sure), I am confident that this camera is the perfect solution to safe hauling. I would highly recommend this Luckview Baby Car Camera even to someone who DOES have a baby or pet riding in the back seat. It will give them great peace of mind. Read more

This car baby camera is very easy to set up. It took a minute to secure the camera to the head rest, a minute to rout the cables under the car seat to the cigarette lighter and a minute to mount the screen to the dashboard. I did it all in the dark and I didn't even bother reading the manual (like a real man!!). All done. My personal preference is I don't like the dashboard mount for the screen that is supplied with the unit. It uses a double-sided mounting tape to stick down the mount. I preferred to use my own clamp. However, I observe that the back of the screen has a standard 4 slot fixture which is widely used on other dashboard mounts (e.g. GPS units, phone mounts, etc.). This means that the screen mount is easily interchangeable with a person's preference. I have a small car (Ford Focus) but I like that the camera's FOV is wide enough that it can see both back seats. It also works very well in the dark. When the light drops, the camera clicks into a night vision mode (I presume it's an IR camera sensor) and clicks back when the light picks up. I also like the cigarette lighter switch. It's just one big red button that remains either in the always-on or always-off position, as required. Read more

I love having the opportunity to see what's going on my grandchild. The installation was super easy. Bring able to angle the camera perfectly was great. The only disadvantage that I've experienced is in very bright daylight, the image is hard to see. Work great on overcast days and nights. I think its a great deal for the price Read more

When I got the camera it did not work and one of the pieces was broken. I contacted the company with pictures about the broken part. They were extremely nice and understanding and sent me an entire new camera system (which I ended up needing all of it because the camera system wasn’t working even after replacing). After the install the camera works great!! It has amazing picture and it’s very clear at night as well. One thing about night time is that the camera also picks up extremely bright led lights and shuts off the nighttime mode and you can’t see the baby but I’m not bothered by this because I feel like most cameras would do the same.
