I purchased these boots in a size 9 after reading reviews suggesting they might run small. My feet are slightly wider than average, so I thought sizing up would help. However, the 9 was too big and slipped on my foot even with socks. I’ll be returning them for my usual size 8.5. These ankle boots are a nice quality boot with lots of style. These boots were not made from a good leather quality, but I think the quality was scuff resistant and looked very high-end. They are not very comfortable because they fit really tight for the size that was listed. I am a solid 7 to 7 1/2 size. I ordered the 7 1/2 and they were very small on me. I needed at least a size 8. I would recommend these shoes, but I would also absolutely recommend getting at least a half size larger than what you normally wear. Read more

I have worn a size 8 1/2 very occasionally a 9 in shoes and boots for so many years. I’ve never bought an 8 1/2 and have it be a half or probably full size too big. I checked the bottom because I thought maybe they’d sent me a size 9 1/2 instead of an 8 1/2 but it was the correct size. I was so excited when I saw these boots. I’ve been wanting to get some new booties with a shorter heel. I love Lucky brand. I’ve never tried on their shoes. If’d tried on their shoes/boots at any point, I would’ve realized how much bigger they run. I’ll have to wear very thick socks or double up on some thicker socks just so they do not slide off so easily. These are really cute, but sadly the sizing is definitely off so it’s hard to tell how comfortable they are. I put on a semi thick pair of socks and then a pair of really thick ones. They were still too big and I know if I wore 2 really thick pairs of socks my feet will be way too hot wearing them. I wanted to give these boots one star, but they are very cute and wearing thicker socks you can tell they would be comfortable, but I don’t know how often I’m gonna wear them having to wear two pairs of socks and even then my feet slide in them some. I was so excited when I saw these boots show up on my Vine page! I’ve been a fan of Lucky brand for years, from their jeans to their wallets. The sizing chart said these would fit a 10.4in heel to toe measurement, and my feet measure 10.5in htt and 4in wide. Still, I decided to risk it, and I’m so glad I did. These boots fit wonderfully, and even have a little wiggle room. The suede is soft, the soles are thick and well secured, and the zippers work smoothly.
