The media could not be loaded. This is my second review so I'm going to be concise. Style:Elegant, Casual and fun. Substance: Quality is ok, and it is lightweight but looks very well-made. I expect it will last with light to moderate use. Overall: A very solid-looking pair that works very well under bright sunlight. I have no way of measuring polarization but wearing these you could be fooled into thinking you could stare at the sun without them. No you can't. I received the dark grey color since I had purchased a blue pair earlier that made me a return customer. These are worth every penny especially when compared to the expensive designer brands out there and I do own a pair of carreras and these match them for sun protection. These are great quality sunglasses for a low price! I got tired of buying cheap sunglasses from the dollar store only to have them break and get scratched within a few wears. These glasses are sturdy and lightweight! A nice hard case came with these, as well as a lens cloth and soft drawstring bag. I keep mine in the hard case and have had no issues as far as scuffs or scratches yet. I was not used to infrared lenses so these did cause some minor headaches the first couple of wears. When I put these on for the first time, I could really see the difference between these and cheap glasses. The lenses really illuminate color and make things more vivid while also providing shade from the sun and UV rays. Best thing is, the reflective front of the lenses hide your eyes from others 🙂 a must for aviator lovers. Read more
I can’t speak on the actual sun protection I will have my eye specialist run them on their uv machine. I usually spend upwards of $300+ on polarized sunglasses bc I have a autoimmune disease in both eyes and I need to wear shades all the time. The sunlight hurts my eyes. I decided to give these a try bc I want more variety when it comes to sunglasses ..a lady want them to be accessories too. They are super light weight bc they are on the “cheaply” plastic side, you get what you pay for there. I was pleasantly surprised at how crisp everything looks. I’m not sure if they are really 100% polarized as they do not cause the rainbow affect as the official ones do, when you look at glass or a mirror outside in the sunlight. They fit great and blocked enough sun that my eyes didn’t hurt. The case is awesome too actually way better than I expected. Definitely thinking of getting another pair. Read more
This is the 8th pair of sunglasses that I have bought from Luenx off of an Amazon Lightning Deals. I really like these glasses, obviously! I have bought a few pairs of the blue mirrored and a few pairs of the dark grey ones, and have always received them in good shape. This pair was bought for my wife because she liked my glasses and knew I was happy with them. I have been using the blue ones for vacations, but have not used them so too many days, so I can't say they are built for abuse. But, they are well priced when they are a lightning deal, and they have always arrived nicely packaged and scratch-free. The "hard" case, soft bag and cleaning cloth are good quality, and I cannot fault the price vs. the overall package! The only reason I have given them 4 instead of 5 stars is because, the early "hard" cases had an elastic strap inside to keep the glasses from flopping around, and the case also had a clip on the outside so that I can clip it to my belt loop when I am outside. I use both of these features all the time. However, the last couple of pairs (including this one) have come with a very similar "hard" case, but no strap or clip. I originally purchased a pair of Luenx aviators back in 2018 after I saw this brand in a Buzzfeed list. I love them. They are 3 years old and still in great condition. I came back to this brand to purchase another pair in a different color (pink this time). They are just as beautiful as my first pair (purple) and the same great quality. No scratches, sturdy lenses and frames, and they are polarized which is great when you're out in the bright sun. I've tried other pairs of sunglasses but I always come back to this brand. Now that I have two pairs, I can keep one in my car and one in my purse. The sunglasses come in a carrying case, with a cleaning cloth and a soft grey bag. The cases zips up and is sturdy. I don't have to worry about my sunglasses getting damaged because they are protected. I love this brand! Read more
I was not expecting much as far as packaging for the price point, but it came in a very nice box, with a cleaning cloth, cloth baggy, and a very nice glasses case that zips closed. I do not know how long the glasses last, but they seem to be very well made for the price point, and with proper care should last a while! I got the ruby red lenses and my family and boyfriend thought they looked great and framed my face really well. I was so excited to get them I went on a drive during a very sunny time. Normally, I would have been squinting because my eyes are veryyyy sensitive to the sunlight, but my eyes felt fine! I would definitely buy again. Read more
For the price they are great and I will probably buy again. I typically wear Ray Ban aviators, but wanted a similar and cheaper alternative and they serve their purpose. The frames are a little bigger than my normal Ray Ban's and I'm not a huge fan of the nose bar, also the arms (? not sure what you actually call them) have stretched out and I don't have a big head so after just a few months of owning them, they don't stay on my face very well and it's super annoying. All in all, they have been a good pair of glasses and look cute, because of the price point I don't mind buying multiples. Read more
