A good solution for upgrading my old suitcase.

MlatOctober 23, 2025✓ Verified purchase

These were a good replacement for the old wheels on my Ricardo hard sided suitcase. They were easy to install and having two lengths for the axles was a big help. As others have said, it is a bit of work to remove the old wheels. I used my Dremel tool with both a small saw and cut off wheel. The replacement wheels fit well. In my case, the wheels fit better with one side facing out rather than the other. The bearings are slightly off center which worked well for me. The new wheels are much smoother rolling than the old ones that did not have bearings. A good solution for replacing the old wheels and making the suitcase easier to move around. Read more

Great value for a quality product

It was a bit of work to remove the wheels off of my older Samsonite luggage...a good bit of cutting required. Once that was done, these wheels were a perfect fit, size and function to the original wheels. We had recently paid $50 to have the wheels replaced on another piece of luggage, so getting quality wheels for $20 was a pleasant experience. Will do all my own wheel replacement going forward. Use loctite!

Kyle N.January 29, 2026✓ Verified purchase

Great wheels but you MUST USE LOCTITE! I had the wheels very tight but lost 3 on the first trip. Ultimately it's my fault because I knew loctite was a good idea but was in a rush. Buying a whole new box to replace the 3 (out of 8) that ended up MIA Read more

Easy to replace and works well

ZagpointJanuary 21, 2026✓ Verified purchase

For years, I have been bothered by the poor quality of the wheels found in many rolling suitcases. The rubbery layer gets worn off and it becomes basically unusable. I ended up throwing away a few of them in otherwise perfect condition. These replacement wheels finally come to rescue! Installation is fairly easy as long as you know how to use an Allen wrench. But removing the old wheels can be a challenge of your skill, or the toolset you have access to. I use a cutoff tool so that wasn't too bad. If you don't have such tool, the product comes with a drill bit that you can use to destroy the old axle. Do your homework and the wheels will fit great. They roll very smoothly and quietly as well. Nice Wheel Replacements to Extend Life of Spinner Bag

RMBJanuary 20, 2026✓ Verified purchase

These wheels fit perfectly on my wife's Ricardo full size spinner bag. After some years of use, the hard rubber outer ring on two of the wheel sets cracked, leaving smaller diameter hard plastic wheels that made it hard to control the bag when rolling. I first looked for OEM or knockoff wheel sets with mount that is bolted onto the bag, but they were complicated with too many different configurations for bolt placement and shape of the mount. It took some effort to remove the old wheels since I used a manual hacksaw to cut through the old axles ( about 3 minutes of sawing each). After that was very easy to install the new wheels. The Amazon page lists all the needed dimensions to ensure these wheels will fit. They have ball bearings and I believe are better than the original OEM wheels. Read more

High Quality Replacement Wheels

P LamDecember 30, 2025✓ Verified purchase

Appears well designed. Each wheel rides on shielded ball bearing. When assembled, they roll very quietly and smoothly compared to original wheels. Installation took a little effort with basic tools. Original hub caps are pried off exposing ends of axles. Device some way to keep axle from rotating. Drill out swaged end of axle (may require larger drill than that provided) until flange is separated. Remove and discard old parts. Install new parts per instruction (flat washer may need to be left out, as in my case). Tighten securely and snap on new hub caps. Read more

No brainer to salvage luggage

C. AingsFebruary 21, 2026✓ Verified purchase

The media could not be loaded. Recently replaced the wheels on an otherwise great large luggage that was damaged by the airline. I considered buying a new suitcase, but came across a better option in these wheels. The fit, sturdiness, and ease of installation made them a great investment. You will need to use a little elbow grease to remove the existing wheels with the hacksaw, but the replacement process was smooth thereafter. Will definitely buy again as needed. Read more

Have you lost a wheel while traveling? There's a fix for that!

anonymous ralphOctober 20, 2025✓ Verified purchase

Have you found yourself traveling, to discover that wheels on your luggage are absolutely worn out? As a regular business traveler, I have recently found myself in that situation. Wheels wouldn't roll any more, or they wouldn't turn. I was concerned I may need to get a new bag, and didn't relish the idea with prices having gone up as they have since the lockdowns, and I really didn't want to replace a 8 year old suitcase with the limited options available in small town North Dakota. So, I set to work researching parts for my case, and found that they are quite difficult to find from any of the brand manufacturers, but that I was regularly coming on to Amazon for all the bits and baubles. I had figured I would have to replace the corners of my bag, that easily screw on and off, as I found many of those, but none that seemed right. Finally, I started seeing wheel kits like this, and I was quite dubious about them as a solution for my problem. My concern was entirely unwarranted. I took some quick measures of the wheels, and found a fit. I ordered, figuring in spite of the illustrations that i would likely need to run out to a local hardware store for some brass rod or other bushing material to complete the kit, but when these came in, and I did my parts inventory, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the wheels have bearings, and there are bushings and washers to accommodate nearly any bag. I did need to get a small hacksaw from a local store to complete disassembly, as I did not have a drill to run the included drill bit through the rivets that served as axels from the manufacturer. 30 minutes after starting, I was happy to test my bag and find that it rolled like new again! my only concern with this kit, is it should probably include a sample of locktite, to firmly fasten the axels together, if I could, I would only knock 1/2 star off for that.
