I bought this as a replacement for my original Calpak carry on suitcase. This is even better and my new favorite thing. I thought maybe this might be slightly smaller than what I was used to but surprisingly you can fit quite a lot in here, even without the extender. The bag tab and additional bag groove in the handle are nice options for when you have extra things. Love the external pocket for easy access to travel documents, earbuds, etc. too. The wheels are so incredibly smooth and quiet, and easily turn 360 degrees. The handle doesn't wobble too much (a huge pet peeve of mine) and the exterior shell of the bag itself is durable. As a parent, we brought this before spring break for a tripe to Florida Disney world. traveling with kids means a lot of stuff. This carry-on, it's been a lifesaver! With kids, you don't need extra stress at the gate. This bag fits the carry-on rules, so we know it'll go in the overhead bin. The built-in rack handle and hook are amazing! I bought this after my old cheap ‘hard shell’ carry on luggage got ANNIHILATED in Greece and came back with a hole in the side and 2 missing wheels. After searching a long time for luggage that would be both durable and stylish, I found the LUGGEX Expandable Hard Shell Carry On which checked all the boxes. So far on my first trip, this exceeded my expectations. The wheels roll SUPER smooth, and the bag hook actually came in handy on its first use. Also the zippers seem well constructed. I’m not crazy about the outside pouch appearance but I understand why it’s there and its functionality. I just probably wont use it personally. I have not fully tested the suitcase as far as capacity goes but my upcoming Euro trip will be its true test. Read more
