I bought the dark blue one, but any color is fine, it’s not about color it’s the support that you want. I have another one that I bought awhile back and now I have two pillows. I have to tell you this one is wonderful to sleep on. Perfect for my lower back. Sometimes I like to use it to support sitting up in bed a bit more and put my head on it. TIP: the silky cover that it comes with is good for my damaged hair right now. Meaning my hair just slides easily on the cover and I find it not hard on my hair as regular cotton covers/pillowcases can be. I am a side sleeper and sometime back sleeper so I tried putting a pillow between my legs when I was on my side. It did provide some relief and then it did not. While I love sleeping on my back, I absolutely cannot without causing pain. In fact, shifting side to side during the night wakes me up and I have to literally sit up carefully so as not to cause myself pain as I make the shift. So, when I came across this lumbar pillow I thought I had nothing to lose. It arrived two weeks ago and I slept with it last night for the first time. I placed it under my back so that I could be on my back or rotate onto my side. It was comfortable right away but the true test was how I fared throughout the night. I briefly awoke in the middle of the night and when I did, I realized I was on my back...and I was pain-free. I went back to sleep and awoke on my side, still pain-free. Shifting side to side during the night not wake me up at all. The pillow did feel a little firm when I unwrapped it but it turned out just right for support when on my back or on my side and I can shift painlessly throughout the night. However, I have noticed that the pillow, initially quite firm, has flattened somewhat over time. Additionally, it tends to be softer than I would prefer and lacks the length I need for optimal support. I purchased this pillow after I started having some lower back pain recently and I am so glad I did. The support was perfect for my back and helped me sleep much better. It works perfectly when I sleep on my back and also can provide support if placed between legs when sleeping on my side. The shape is just right.
