Lume Cube is nearly a decade old company that has always had a rep for making quality products. They really went big during the pandemic when their video conferencing lights became a 'must have'. They've expanded from that niche to address the ever growing market of content creators. Even better--they keep the quality level high while selling their products at a very reasonable price point. This package delivers a very servicable--and portable--content creation kit. It has a well made and functional tripod, a Bluetooth shutter control that mounts into the tripod, a phone mount, a decent microphone and a creator light with adjustable color and brightness. There's also a charging cable and a handy case to carry everything around. Lume Cube has made a couple of microphone models before, but I was surprised to find out that it wasn't the 'weak link' in this package. It's actually a really good microphone for what it is and comes complete with a shock mount, audio cables, a foam windscreen and a furry windscreen. The tripod can be used as a handheld 'selfie stick' or extended to 55". At some point, a serious content creator might want to invest in a higher end light, mic, tripod, etc. based on their specific use case. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and durability of this Lume Cube kit! Gives me much more than I was expecting for the price. The materials are very durable and actually have some weight to them, which is reassuring, and gives me confidence and their ability to take them on the trail and road with me. I feel like the weight of the actual tripod/selfie stick would hold my devices and make it more durable. The legs for the tripod feel durable, and surprisingly lock into place which is a nice feature. The light is very bright and the functionality of the LCD screen on the back to give me details of brightness, battery, life, and what color is on, this is so very useful. It has been a while since I have been excited to use equipment like this, but I am excited to have this one and continue to use it. The microphone is very professional and provides exceptional quality. The wind buffers are well built, and seem to hug the microphone so they won’t fall off. This kit has everything you need for live streaming, photo sessions, and recording videos. It’s great quality & an excellent value, especially considering all of the items included. I went from carrying around several different products (tripod, selfie stick, anudio & light kits, etc.) to everything I need in one easy-to-organize bag. The microphone is amazing - sounds great and includes both foam windscreen & fur windshield. I’ve used it outside in very windy weather & you couldn’t hear the wind at all. The creator light is a nice size, has brightness & temperature controls. and can be charged with a USB-c cable. The stand can be adjusted up to 5’ and used as a tripod or a handheld selfie stick. Many telescoping stands & sticks wiggle but you can lock each of the sections on this one, making it very stable. The smartphone remote works great and has no lag like some I’ve used.
