Added a $65 pocket BVM mask, 4 pack of occlusive dressings and two boxes of NPA's I got right here on Amazon. Bag includes two big sections (posterior/anterior), each of which has a bunch of little zipper/velcro pockets and different layers to put stuff. Roughly ⅕ the pockets available in the bag didn't have gear in them so there's a significant amount of room for customization. All the expirations on the bandages are out 2-4 years from now which I am very pleased to see. I was afraid about what I'd find there but I had no reason to be. I pulled out the blood pressure cuff and stethoscope because I already have my own and don't need a redundant set in the bag. Came with two little go bags to make smaller packs, one was just plain on the inside, the other came with all kinds of pockets inside. I'm buying a label maker today so that I can label my pockets inside this bad boy and I'm going to sit down and completely empty this bag out then reorganize it and label it the way that I want. Came with 3 ice packs, 2 of them were activated by the time it came which is to be expected. There was really only room for one pop pack where they were so that's not even a point against this bag. They're squeeze pouches, they got squeezed and did their job. I'll go get 2 more from Walmart and put them in a different pocket that won't be as exposed to possibly getting squeezed. In summary: very happy with this, expiration dates are all 2-4 years out, enough pockets to completely empty this thing out and put it back together exactly the way you want it. Not going to need the little go bags but I could see where someone could put one together for a snowmobile/4Wheeler/UTV jump kit. This isn't something you buy and throw in a junk room or closet and forget about. You take it apart, look at everything, put it back how you want it; and you do that once a year from here on out replacing each little thing as it expires. That way when SHTF you can grab this thing in the dark, open it in the dark, and perfectly reach in and grab exactly what you're looking for blind, backwards, and upside down without hesitation. Very comprehensive and well planned trauma and first aid kit. I added a few things, because there was room believe it or not. The backpack is sturdy and I like all of the different pouches and storage compartments. I am glad it is like a rip away in how it opens flat out and I'm happy it has compression straps to keep it all together and in place on the move. All in all I really like the kit and the bag. If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars I would. The only equipment this kit does not have is an advanced airway kits and IV solution. The kit s basically an urgent care facility in a robust back pack. I would recommend this kit to any emergency responders no matter your skill set. I purchased the GP IFAK pack as well which I placed in my vehicle. In these troubling times, one may not have easy access to emergency care and this kits will “Fill in the Void” I did has an issue with shipping and Jeremy, one of the co-owners of LUMINARY GLOBAL was very helpful with determining the shipping SNAFU. Decent medical bag, the bag itself is constructed well. Plenty of room for more gear like Ivy bags etc.. I think it’s a bit over priced for what you get but not bad for starters. Read more

I gave this med kit 4 stars and I need to bump it up to 5 stars. The reason why is simple. The seller! We have been messaging back and fourth about the contents. This is a very large kit. It has 90% of everything and EMT would use. There are a few things that could be better or missing. That is what started the email with the seller They are items that some people would appreciate selecting their own equipment, so why drive the price of the kit up with what they dont like.. I say that I agree with the value of that decision. There are many different types of tourniquets out there, pick the one you are trained on likewise bag masks BVM, airways etc. Add your preferences to this kit. I think it's one of the best value medical kits offered, and it's in a grab and go mil style backpack. Let's say you are called to a hunting accident, it's most likely in the woods. Do you want to wear or carry your med kit for 1/2 a mile? Easy choice for me. That's why I feel this med kit was the one for me. I have personalty been on that call and I carried. Never again!
