Out of many rices I have had, Lundberg Sushi Rice is the BEST!! I have used it to make some of the best Rice Pudding which I have never liked before but making it with this rice I do. The rice has always been clean and I have never seen any bugs which I have seen in other rices and grain products. The stickiness is perfect to make California Rolls or packing it into a ball. It's 100% organic, which gives me peace of mind, and the subtle, clean flavor lets the fresh fish and veggies shine through.I followed the package instructions: rinsed until the water ran clear, then simmered with a bit of rice vinegar, sugar, and salt for that authentic seasoning. Yielded about 10 cups cooked from the 32-ounce bag, which is plenty for multiple meals. See Rice Cooking Modifications
Great tasting rice! If you don’t use a rice cooker, the cooking instructions on the bag work perfectly with a few minor changes. 1) Add salt and olive oil for flavor during the soak time. 2) Immediately after the rice comes to a full boil, turn off the heat but leave pan on the burner and cover with a tight fitting lid. This prevents sticking and the rice cooks perfectly. There’s no need to keep checking the rice to see when it’s done. I forgot to time it but I think it took about 30 minutes to cook. The price of 3 bags is a great value for the money. Read more
