These boots are awesome! They are definitely wide calf - so if you're mid-plus size they will probably fit you perfectly. If you are on the heavier plus size side, I'd make sure you measure your calf very well. I bought these wearing a size 14 with thicker legs. I was about 180lbs and 5'3". They fit really good when I first bought them. However, I'm now a size 10/12, 160lbs, and they are pretty loose in the legs, but they still stay up nicely. They are great quality for the money. These boots are fantastic and exactly what I was looking for. They seem really well made, very stylish, and zip easily over my larger calves. I did see, the foot of the boot was a wide width as well and they are a little big. I ordered my normal size 7 and 6.5 would probably be a better fit in the foot, but since they don't have that size, I am keeping them and will just wear a thicker sock. I cannot wear high heels at all, as I tend to have balance issues, but wanted a boot with a little heel. These are just right. I will be able to walk in them easily. These were a win for me. Boots are beautiful. However, they are not wide enough on the calf. Neither my oldest daughter or I could zip them up all the way (made it almost half way). So my youngest daughter (who is very thin) took them. They fit her fine. But the point was they were supposed to be extra wide. Not fit a 120 pound tiny calf person. Read more

These fit perfectly over wider calves! I can easily zip up over a thicker pant as well and still have a bit of room that doesn’t look like a small child wearing their mother’s shoes. Read more
