The boots are fabulous! I was afraid they wouldn’t fit but I had to take that chance because my daughters wedding was fast approaching and my foot attire for the past 5 years consisted of sandals, flip flops and no real shoes. These have a small heel, not too tall but for me it seemed like I would be wearing stilts. And considering this was a wedding I was afraid I’d be limping after a hour. Well, let me tell you, these were perfect! The heel height wasn’t even really noticeable. And the comfort,,, I spent about 4 hours in these boots and had no aches or soreness. Beautiful boot design but much too wide for me. I do wear wide shoes but these are extremely wide. If you have a very wide foot and ankle these would be a good choice. Sadly, not for me. Also very flat on the inside so no arch at all, but they do include a thin memory foam insole. Read more

First things first: this was a repack. Not that I mind if no one has worn these, but they’re could’ve at least put them in a box. They came in a plastic bag, inside a regular plastic Amazon shipping bag. I’m sure there are boxes that look like shoe boxes (I’ve seen them in shoe stores before, so I know they make them) that these could be put in. They didn’t take long to arrive after ordering, during the Black Friday deals, so that’s a plus. Price was a plus also, which is usually a difficult feat with wider feet. For reference my favorite go to brands are Bzees and Ryka. Now about the boots. At first lol they are okay as far as pretty, seems somewhat “sturdy”, so I don’t think it’d fall apart. There are some detail flaws though, which you would not have noticed from the photos (see my photos). The way the braid wraps around the ankle, ending by the zipper would nice, if it didn’t end like it was just cut off after sewing/gluing in place. (Photo #1) Not a very pretty look to see the cutoff ends of the braid material, maybe it could have been stained the same color as the boot (they’re black so I’m sure that’s easy), or just finished better. There is also a scuff or scratch on one part of outside of the braid. (Photo #2) It’s actually on both boots but one more evident. Maybe it’s how it’s tucked into place that caused this? Not that it’s super noticeable if you’re walking in them, I doubt people would stare that close to see it, but it was the first thing I noticed when picking up the boot. All that aside, the ankle boots are okay. I find them a bit stuff however, and since I have problem feet I think these are going to go back. They are true to size: I have an extra rude foot, 8WW or 8E, sometimes I can get away with 8W or 8.5W depending on brands. I got the 8WW and the fit is just right length and width. The opening of it is also wide, which is a plus: that’s usually an issue for me, I can never get one that is wide enough to accommodate my ankles and be comfortable. There is no arch support imho, and the insole isn’t removable so you can’t adapt that to fit your foot. No wiggle room to add an insert. The zipper is a bit stiff going up or down, there’s a small bent in the zipper pull, not sure if that’s helpful or not. The heel feels sturdy, albeit a bit “hard” but I think it is not going to fail. Height is just right, however, again, with my feet issues (had several foot surgeries with permanent hardware, so my feet must feel 100% happy or I can’t wear them. I may need to send these back for this reason as well. The material overall looks nice, probably should use a shoe shine cream/wax to keep them looking nice, and avoid scuffing. I also don’t think I could stand in these all day. Maybe a few hours at most. If they had a removable insole maybe I’d consider it so I could put mine in, but as is they’re a no for me. This is a welcomed surprise. I am always hesitant when ordering shoes because I have such a wide foot, but these fit my foot beautifully. So comfortable. They look absolutely amazing. I would recommend x 10! Read more

These fit well, but again the cushioning for your feet is not considered in the design of this boot. I purchased a Birkenstock in a sole which I included in the boots and was able to wear it for a longer period of time. Read more

First of all they don't come with a box so the pricing is way wrong. (Think Big Box cheap shoes). They are a very cute boot, however the material is stiff on the outside and after I managed to cram my foot in, the inside has no cushion either. I was excited when they arrived I wanted to wear them the day they arrived, unfortunately they are not true to size. They run very small. I normally wear an 8 wide or 8.5. I ordered the 8x-wide and they are more like a size 6 regular. It was very difficult to even get my foot down the upper shaft of the boot but I finally managed and when I did I quickly regretted it, because the toe box was so slim I felt like my foot folded in half and I got an immediate cramp in my foot. They are also way too short. When I took my foot out I felt like a cartoon character unrolling my foot after being squashed into something. My foot barely measures 10 inches long so I'm not sure what measurements they are using but they are NOT a correct fit. I might be able to get a 10.5 or 11 on but I won't even run that risk.
