I was the first backers for Kosmu’s Kickstarter campaigns and I have pretty much everything they have made - bath robe, bath towels, beach towels. I haven't been disappointed in ANY of the products they've made. I've had some items for several years now and they're holding up beautifully. Kosmu is absolutely the real deal. Once again, I am impressed with this blanket. Unlike the typical "cheap & thin" waffle blankets on the market, this one feels plush and high-end. While it's worth noting that it's a one-size blanket, its ample dimensions make it perfect for snuggling on the couch. It also serves excellently as a solo sleep blanket. My only wish is for Kosmu to consider creating a King-size version so I can share its comfort with my husband. Moreover, its spacious design makes it ideal for bedtime, and the waffle pattern adds a touch of elegance to my bedroom, giving it a resort-like ambiance. In addition to its practicality, it doubles as a fantastic decorative piece. One last thing is that it comes with a reusable storage bag and a nice laundry bag. I always appreciate great branding and it makes for a perfect gift option. Anyway this is a great blanket. It’s a bit expensive though. But you will know why when you receive it. Read more

These are so different from what we’re all accustomed. If you like it rough here ya go. They are nicely absorbent. I like them a lot. The dryer time is cut by half. The quality is spot-on. Very nice. Read more
The KOSMU Luxury Japanese Cotton Waffle Bath Towel is a lovely towel — the color is beautiful, it’s well-made, absorbent, and it dries quickly. It feels high-quality and performs well after washing. That said, it’s not quite as soft or luxurious feeling as I expected for the price. Still, it’s a great, stylish towel that combines practicality with a clean, modern look. Read more
The cotton-silk blend is actually more pleasant to the touch than terrycloth, and dries hair well. No photo but the green color is slightly lighter than a forest green, with a touch of blue in it; but is still a darker green than any other hair wrap I've found. Read more
Super hard on skin, almost feel like sandpaper. No even a bit soft like description. I only washed it once, cold water setting, mild detergent only, and line dried. If it takes more care than that, the fabric shouldn’t be made into a towel for family use. Read more
So, the towel is a good towel. It absorbs water really well, it dries quickly, and it is light. However, the advertising is either a bit misleading or overly promising. I have similar waffle weave towels that are 100% cotton, and I can't tell the difference with this towel. I am not sure what the 30% silk is doing here, but it's either not silk or not doing anything, which seems weird for a product made of almost 1/3 silk. Second, it linted all over the place even after two washes and hang dries. I eventually just threw it in the dryer on medium and it fixed it, and filled the lint trap. Third, it is a bit rough but I expected that with this type of towel. Again, not sure what the silk is doing here. The first wash cycle it was stiff but that is no longer the case. Bottom line, this is a good waffle weave cotton towel, but if you're buying it for the marketing: silk, low linting, soft; this isn't it. Read more
