The belt itself is a bit stiffer and thicker than expected, which some may like or dislike, depending on preference. It doesn’t stretch much at all. That may come in handy for clipping things onto it such as a utility knife, flashlight, etc. The buckle is made by YKK so it should be plenty durable. The buckle is very easy to release and make adjustments, but won’t come undone by itself. Decent quality. The buckle feels a little cheap but it's not bad. It looks very good, is comfortable and easy to adjust. The release mechanism works well and you're able to get it off like your dad did his when you scratched the car that time in 1995. The size is adjustable and there is plenty of extra room. Durable, fits jeans well, buckle is eay to use and works well, fabric does not shred along edges. SIze was true to order. I have bought several and given one as a gift. Plastic, thus metal-detector does not go off. Like the old GI belts but better so far. Looks? It disappears - great. This is not a gun or tool belt. Read more
