These are good quality and light up nicely at night. Have left them out all year and still light after being out in rain, sleet, snow, heat. I'm not saying they last for ever so I bought an extra box to replace if needed but they do last over a year I'd say. Read more

Work fine and much larger than appearance in pictures. Bright white light shines upwards, not on sidewalk or driveway, but a nice guide light. My only real dislike is the cheap plastic prongs that go in ground. We live in AZ and our soil is not great, so I waited till rained to dig holes. Several of the plastic prongs broke off when placing into head piece before even putting in ground. So even if I had better soil it didn't matter because it was broken before it went in ground. I live in a dry, arid climate where it's difficult to grow and maintain plants and flowers. So I have to beautify my yard landscape using mostly mulch and rocks. I wanted to add a pop of brilliance to the flower bed area by adding in-ground landscape lights/panels, and these did not disappoint. What I like about the lights are they are easy to install, they are bright and they are solar-powered. The lights come in a box and each light disk, or panel, is well-wrapped in a small bubble bag ensuring that each one does not arrive broken. Mine did not arrive broken. Also, upon purchasing the light panels, a customer can choose a set of them that radiates with a white-light type of glow or a yellow-light type of glow. I purchased the white-light type in order to enhance the decor of the gray landscape stones that border around my garden bed. Installation is so easy. For instance, each panel comes with an attachable spike that affixes to the underside of it in order to transform the panel into a stake. This way, one can then push the panel into the ground to secure it into position. Or, one can leave the attachable spike off of the panel, and merely place the panel on the ground at the desired location. Voilà, the installation is complete! The panels I received came powered to the "on" position and were ready for installation out of the box. By the way, it is important that panels are in the "on" position before they are placed in the yard so that the solar mechanism can be activated and powered by the sun. That way, they will light up brilliantly as did mine, and the radiance of the panels I received is bright white and is not dull at all. Also, I like that the panel lights last longer since they are solar-powered. I don't have to worry about changing out the batteries every two weeks which would have become costly. I purchased the 'warm' version, received them quickly and they were a breeze to operate. Simply move the power button to "ON" and they turn on. I left these out in the direct sunlight for several days to observe them before writing this review. Unfortunately, not one of the lights could ever be described as "bright". I realize I purchased the warm version, but I did at least figure it would still illuminate whatever it was aimed at. I started with putting lights under a couple of very small trees as uplighting. I would not recommend these for that purpose. Walking by, there is very little illumination of the tree from one of these lights. In addition to that, one of the eight lights is malfunctioning. It turns on if I hold the power switch to the "ON" position, but won't stay on when I let it go. Aside from the ease of use, another pro is that each of the lights that do work are all exactly the same in brightness and color temperature. Literally zero deviation from one to another (except, of course, the one that simply does not work). I would say if all you want is lighting as an accent and not to actually illuminate anything, I guess these are fine. You can see the light, but that's about it. This is my second set already. I wasn’t expecting much but this exceeded my expectation. It is very durable. Some of solar lights I bought from the other seller didn’t last long and doesn’t lit well.
