Best Invention when potty training! While in the limbo between the initial potty training and my child being fully dependable 100% of the time, this has been a life savor! It is also a great "safety net" on long road trips, in case we can't pull over fast enough or she falls asleep. I tested it first with pouring a cup of water on it in the kitchen, and it absolutely works. The liquid absorbs into the top layer (so it doesn't just run off the side like some "waterproof pads") but it does not go through at all. The bottom layer remained completely dry. The bubblegum pink color is so fun! Our carseat is black, so my daughter loves that her seat is now pink! She just thinks it's an accessory/decoration to jazz up her seat. This product is nice to put into the car seat! It does well with collecting spills! Easy to use for potty training or just for all that toddler snacks and drinks that are all over the car! The one thing that isn’t as great is the slip resistance! It does move easily in the car seat when ur toddler is in it! But if you put it in the way it should, it doesn’t move as much! You do have to fix it every time you put the lid in and out of the seat! It is very easy to clean! Much better than cleaning the car seat and taking that apart! It is soft! Thin! How annoying is it having to take the car seat cover every time your kid has an accident? Not anymore. Just slip this cover off, throw it in the wash, dry it with the rest of the load and slip it right back on. It's nice and thick, it's SO easy to slip and on off, so easy to clean, highly absorbent, and while I thought it would come off while I was trying to get my daughter in and out of the car, it doesn't shift at all.
