These are very comfortable and form in the ear canal easily. However, they are not sufficient for hearing protection in an indoor shooting range. Not heavy enough material. These are plenty sufficient for most other hearing protection needs. They work well when operating loud machinery, such as a lawn mower. But... the little blue pair of rubber plugs that they include in this container is indeed heavy enough and works very well at the range. I ended up ordering more of the kind like these rubber plugs for use at the range.
