The privacy lid seems to do its job fine. Mine has a snug fit and the privacy flap flips up fine. I think its over priced though and Logitech should have included something similar with the camera for free because its just a cheap piece of plastic with a hinge. Honestly if I had to pick again I would probably try just using a piece of cardboard and some tape and stick it to the top of the cam and flip the cardboard up when I needed to use it. Read more
This was easy to snap on my logitech streamcam. It's simple to lift the lid (guess that's what you would call it) up when you want to use your webcam. Simple to put back down when you're done. I don't really know what else to say about a webcam privacy shutter - it does what it's meant to do and I would recommend it. Read more
I have a logi stream cam. It fits, but has to be mounted in opposite direction as what’s shown. No worries though. I figured it out and am enjoying the sense of security that comes with being able to cover my lens. Read more

The only down-side to the Logitech Streamcam is that it doesn't have a privacy shutter. This aftermarket shutter fits the body of the camera perfectly, does not interfere with any mounting options or the optics and opens/closes smoothly. Logitech should be ashamed of themselves and thank you to these guys for this aftermarket add on. Read more
