This dress has a beautiful modern-yet-vintage Jackie O look. The length was just right for me, and the construction felt solid with neat stitching and no loose threads. The tweed fabric is high-quality, fully lined (a rare find compared to other Amazon options I tried), and features a subtle gold thread with a touch of sparkle that would photograph well for events. Unfortunately, the fit was too boxy on my frame (5’3”, 112 lbs, 34AA). While I didn’t expect it to be form-fitting, it looked clunky rather than flattering. My dress also arrived with makeup stains on the lining and hot glue on the fabric near the zipper, which was disappointing. In addition, the color leaned more toward a warm cream/yellow tone than the neutral off-white I had hoped for. Overall, it’s a very cute dress with great details, but the fit and condition made it a return for me. If it were available in petite or XXS sizing, it might have worked better. Read more

I love the look of this dress. I ordered a size small and it fits perfectly. For reference I'm 5'3" tall, 120lbs, and large in the chest. My normal dress size is 4/6, and this dress runs right in that range. The fabric is warm, it's comfortable, and has enough stretch to move freely. I am disappointed in the pockets. They are sewn shut by the thread attaching the button, so I have to cut the buttons off and reattach them to open the pockets. If you don't want to show off your underpants when bending over, you'll want to wear tights with this dress because the skirt is fairly short. Overall I'm happy and would recommend this dress. I ordered this dress for my daughter to wear when she needs to look professional for interviews for graduate school. She loves the dress and it looks great. The fabric is beautiful and the dress looks very expensive. The length is good too-not too short but hits just above the knee. I have it dry cleaned and it comes back looking perfect. This dress is beautiful, well structured and could be very flattering on...if I could get it on. I read the measurements closely and even decided to size up, but it was still too tight across my chest. For reference, I'm 5'4", 155 lbs and a 34DD. This was so tight across my chest that it barely zipped in the back. I'll give it to one of my friends with a smaller chest because even when I sized up to a large, it did not work for me.
