I am really impressed with how comfortable these golf pants are for the price point. I was looking for something that had a bit of give for when I am out on the course but still looked sharp enough to wear to a business casual meeting afterward and these definitely fit the bill. The stretch is the best part because they do not feel restrictive at all when I am bending or moving around but they still maintain their shape throughout the entire day. The fabric is lightweight and breathable which is a must for those afternoon rounds when the sun is beating down. The fit is a nice modern classic cut that is not too baggy but not skin tight either. I really appreciate the pocket design because they are deep enough to hold my scorecard and tees without everything falling out when I sit down in the golf cart. The material has a smooth finish that looks much more expensive than it actually is and it does a great job of resisting wrinkles even after a long day of wear. I have even spilled a little water on them and it just beaded up and wiped away which tells me they have a decent amount of moisture resistance. I would suggest checking your measurements carefully because the waist has a little bit of extra flex but the length seems to be spot on with the size chart. I have washed them a couple of times now and they come out of the dryer looking brand new without any shrinking or fading of the color. They are a fantastic alternative to the big name athletic brands that charge double or triple the price for essentially the same performance. My husband plays golf every chance he gets! Now that he is "semi-retired" and no longer has to dress for work, he likes to dress nicely yet comfortably for his golf games. Gone are the days of wearing khaki chinos on the golf course! He prefers golf pants. I ordered these M MAELREG Stretch Golf Pants for him in Cream. He loves them! The pants are made from a stretchy polyester/spandex material that provides a good fit. The fabric holds its own--it does not stretch out of shape while wearing and golfing. The pants taper at the ankle and come in a variety of inseams to accommodate different heights. The pants have five pockets, as described--two in the front and two in the back--and a fifth pocket to store a phone, keys, or credit card. My husband loves that the pants have two back pockets--one for a glove and one for a scorecard. The nice "bonus" with these pants is that they are super comfortable to wear playing golf but also look a bit dressier than your average golf pants, so, in my opinion, could easily be worn to a meeting, the office, dinner out, or church services. As shown in my photo, the pants fit true to size. Note: I asked my husband to tuck a dark shirt into these cream pants to demonstrate how the dark fabric barely shows through--lightweight yet not see-through! Wow! These must be the most lightweight full-length pants I've owned as an adult. I overheat easily so I appreciate any and every measure which can help keep me cool (plus lightweight is comfortable, its like wearing silk). And they're not kidding about the stretchiness - I think these must also be the most stretchy (most elastic fabric, including waistband) pants I've owned as an adult, too; recently I've tried some other, similar, pants which have elastic waistbands like sweatpants but this goes further (literally). Not sure what's going on with the pocket on the right side which is between the normal right-side top pocket and the right-rear back pocket (I'm remarking on this pocket because I've never seen one placed in this spot, although I am keen to see if its beneficial). It's not hard to believe that these would dry quickly due to this material - so it's comfortable, lightweight, quick-drying, stretchable (elastic) - all terrific utilitarian features of these pants. But what most people would consider the drawback, or, for me, the reason why I'm not sure how often I'll wear these in public despite being extremely pleased is that they're shiny and the fabric is so thin that when pulled taught they're just like skin-tight leggings for women which take on exactly the shape of the body wearing them. I'm not suggesting this is a practical problem, I know for me this would be the reason I wouldn't wear them to work. I think they're appropriate for any kind of recreation or casual use, but when you look at this item's main picture of the golfer the pants look like standard dress pants and that's just not what they look like usually when wearing them. These pants are not quite what I was expecting. These are very stretchy and thin. They are cut like a fairly standard size of chinos. Regular fit that is slightly tapered. The fit is good for the most part. However, I was surprised that a size 36 waist was as loose as it is because my actual waist measurement is a 38. Given that the material of these pants is highly stretchy I was hoping they would fit tighter in my waist. So that I could wear them without a belt. It seems like these pants are pretty much spandex all the way through and instead of being cut really slim like yoga pants they are cut like slacks for men. However even though they look like slacks I wouldn't wear these in a situation for formal situations. Because the material is so soft and stretchy it doesn't have that crisp clean structured look. I'll provide a picture which shows how soft and wavy they actually look. Like I mentioned already I think these will be great pants for casual summertime usage.
