Get some for yourself
To be honest, I was pretty skeptical that these would function as advertised. But I was blown away, and will definitely be purchasing more. For back story, I had a recent trip, June/July 2025, to a country where shorts are not really acceptable. And the only "tech" pants I had were cargo hiking, which were also not culturally appropriate - basically business casual is daily wear. We were also looking at temps in the low 90s to low 100s most days, but dropping into the 50s-60s at night, and limited access to laundry facilities, so I needed something pretty versatile. And thankfully, these met all my needs and then some. Also, I came back with 2 small holes (pen head size) near the knee of one pair - no idea how they got there, and they did not expand after washing a couple more times. So I contacted the seller to see if they had any ideas and they just mailed me a new pair after I sent them a couple pictures. No questions or requests for review, and all after the normal return window. Things I like about them: 1 - Fit: Great! Nice, in the middle waist height, with just enough room in the groin to be comfortable without looking like a saggy diaper. I am 6'1", 210lbs, with more of a butt than most guys. But I never had a problem with them riding either direction. And they still lay with a more sleek cut, and do not look sloppy. Pockets are also good sized, and will fit a modern cell. 2 - Temp regulation: They have handled everything the weather has thrown at me. All the way up to 102 with 70% humidity, down to mid 40s and rain. I will admit that I was sweating heavily at the top temps, would have been in shorts also. But I never felt stuffy or overwhelmed by the heat/humidity, and the pants dried quickly as soon as temps cooled or A/C was available. They also never looked wet or got clingy. 3 - Ease of care: They have handled Machine and hand washing without problems, and even survived getting accidentally high heat dried. I usually hang dry most of my clothes, and even when hand washed have never had to wait a whole day for them to dry. 4 - Feel: The material is soft without being slippery. And has excellent flex while maintaining shape. Things to consider: They run big in my experience. I measure around a 38-40 waist, but a 36 fits best, and I could probably squeeze into a 34. And, I wish they had in-between lengths, a 30 is too short, but 32 is longer than I would like - I ended up rolling them, which looked nice and stayed in place, but if you do not want to do that you may have to hem. But, once I found a size I liked, it has been consistent across 3 pairs. Overall, not really any complaints so far. And I am looking forward to getting some more colors. Read more
