FWIW, these are initial impressions. I got these for long car trips, for cold/hot drinks. The coating is done well, the stainless steel guage is to me a good balance between not flimsy and not heavy. The straw-able lids fit well. Cups fit (mostly) into the cup holders on my vehicle. I can't speak to the durability of the coating, but even if it wears off, I figure what would be left is a ss cup. Changing to 5 stars. After a week of daily use for cold and hot traveling by car, picnic-ing and beach-ing, the cups are quite nice, haven't suffered any noticeable wear (see pic). They keep cold and hot pretty well, the lids have silicone gaskets and are snug. I paid $15.12 for a set of 4, which I think is a great deal. Have not used them in a dishwasher, so I can't comment on that. They fit more on top of the car cup holders than in, but at least in my car's holders it's a secure fit. Read more

A beautiful insulated cup that keeps my beverages at the temperature I want. I've even been using it for ice-cream, it does such a great job. I'm hand washing, as some reviews suggested not to use the dishwasher, and I don't want to take chances. I haven't had it more than a couple of weeks, but I'm loving it so far. (If I knew for sure these would stand up to dishwashing, I'd get one in every color! They're made by many different brands/sellers, with differing prices as well. I bought a set of these to see if I would like them and I wish I had bought 8 from the start. They come in a great selection of colors, I got the mint color and they are amazing. They keep your drink super cold or hot depending on what you drink. I used mine with wine and coffee and they both hold the temperature for a very long time. I also love how easy they clean. I have other brands of this same tumbler, so I was skeptical at first. I am very satisfied with my tumblers, especially the price and choice of colors. I like the lids better than some because it has a bigger lip and is easy to get off. It seals nicely and doesn't leak. The drink hole doesn't have a closure, but that is as described. There are no indentions like some other brands, but they are easy to hold. I think the only thing they could improve would be a padded bottom like some others so they don't slip. I bought a couple of these for my husband and I to use both in the home and while out on walks. They do keep drinks cooler longer than a simple glass will, and certainly while out in the sun with the cups (I put ice water in mine for quick outings in the desert outside our home, and after a half hour the ice is still clinking inside, and this is in July). However, the only reason I cannot give this product five stars is that the lid hole is awkwardly placed and we've found that, to avoid dribbling on ourselves with every sip, we have to put our lips on top of the plastic lid rather than having our bottom lip on the outside of the tumbler and upper lip over the hole, if that makes sense -- because if we drink from them in the traditional way, our drink spills everywhere. But knowing that and having come up with a work around by sipping as I attempted to describe above, we can successfully use them and we do use them daily. Read more

function: - hot drink stays hot (taking to work and drinking immediately, no further tests conducted) - it does not leak if nestled in cup holder of my ten year old Land Rover (no further tests conducted, though its obvious it would fail if it were tipped. It has to stay level). - Weeble-Wobble design principle at its base helps resist tipping; it's not just a low ball. - ergonomic - it feels good to hold. - bowl-like interior at the base makes it easy to clean. It's also wide enough at the mouth to allow my entire hand inside for cleaning. form: Very pleasing to the eye in its almost Brancusian simplicity. It's pretty and simple. I am very happy with this purchase. I'm considering other colors, but you may have noticed I'm a purist and the pearly white is perfection, in my not-so-humble opinion. ;-) Before you buy anything, ask yourself questions about how you will use it and what is most important to you about it. This is an updated review about it fantastic company trying to make sure all their customers are happy! At first I wasn't happy with the product I received as it had a bad seal on Lid the first time I used it causing me to have bad red wine stains all over my shirt! After reading my review the owner personally sent me a letter and a new product which I found very satisfactory and was very excited to receive. the letter did not seem desperate but instead seemed like somebody just genuinely trying to keep customers satisfied and preserve his companies good reputation. Now that I know that the product is absolutely good quality I plan on buying a couple more colors as a summer goes on because this Mama's got to keep her drink cold!
