This keyboard arrived well packaged in less than 24 hrs. I am impressed. I was looking for a replacement for an old apple mac keyboard I had since the 90's. I had a spilling accident and found this one. I plugged it in today and it's just like riding a bike. Keys are a little shorter, but faster and all short cuts etc. work the same way. Only big difference is I can't plug mouse into keyboard like the old one. I like my current mouse so I'm using that and keeping the one that came with as a backup. I am also planning to order another one of these keyboards as a backup. I've looked before and found nothing comparable and this one fits the bill. It's much lighter, but has kick stands to angle for same feel. Very happy with the purchase. Read more
This keyboard is great for those of us who like a bit of clickity-clakity in our lives, without being crazy loud. The keys are the perfect typing height; low profile enough so your fingers don't feel like they're getting a workout trying to type while still giving you that old "retro" 90's/early 2000's feel. I do not like the newer keyboards that separate the totally flat keys. I thought the wire would bug me since I use it with my laptop, but it's fine. Super lightweight and fun to type. Plus, it's super inexpensive. The mouse is pretty basic and the wire is super long so I wish I would've gotten a wireless mouse, but it's not enough for me to return everything and repurchase just the keyboard and a new mouse. I like Macally keyboards. Good key action and the buttons do control sound and music, for example, without fussing with anything. Liked this deal with the mouse included. I've also bought Apple keyboards and mice for 3x the price of Macally. **I see zero difference in longevity or performance.** In fact, last my apple mouse was crappy right out of the box, with a click-touch that could not be controlled and a wild tendency to zoom across pages, no matter what I did in System settings. Apple is making pure junk for 3x the price. Macally products work well and they work well right out of the box -- for 8 months or so. I've tried a dozen brands and different types of keyboards and the worst are gone in a month, the best go for 6 to 8 months. What I really want is a durable, spill proof, stick-proof, high-use keyboard that will last a year (or even more!) Haven't found one yet. But this keyboard, while it lasts for heavy-duty typists, has a great price and, while it works, it's great. I'll get 8 months out of it, for sure. Read more
Is working fine with my Mac mini 4. Not sure why the roller thingy didn't seem to work well at the beginning, but over a few days it's working fine now. Maybe it has to "learn?" haha who knows these days? Read more
What a great wired set to replace my original Bluetooth set. I was in need of having to completely wipe and reinstall the OS on my older Mac but I needed to have a wired set in order to hit certain prompts. This set was extremely affordable, totally compatible and a great investment. Money well spent Read more

The only feature it doesn't have that my old one had is the USB ports. My old Macally had 2 but my keys were worn out having written 60 books on it. It's lighter than my old one, but that might be because of the lack of ports. But it works fine. It's a keeper. I think I returned two or three previously. It's like we seniors say all the time: They don't make things like they used it. I bought a USB C Hub Multiport USB C Adapter so I don't need the USB ports on the keyboard. So I finally found one that is exactly like my old one except for the USB ports. Read more
I'm surprised this gets any good reviews at all. The keyboard is a stunning piece of crap. Feels cheap, sounds cheap, and is cheap. The color is more off white than white and the lettering isn't really black which can be difficult for those with poor eyesight. The worst part is how loud it is and how cheap it feels. Same goes for the mouse. MacAlly has really fallen far and fast. I had their IceKey 2 Keyboard and it felt much better and looked better than this thing. One of the keys stopped working so I had to look for something else. This is the second MacAlly Keyboard I tried. The other was built poorly as well. MaxAlly should be ashamed of themselves, but there seems to be little shame in many companies lately. Read more
