I bought this keyboard two months ago, and I honestly have no complaints. It works exactly as expected and has been reliable from day one. I’ve been using it regularly, and it still performs great. Definitely a purchase I’m happy with! Read more

I'm currently writing this review with this new Macally thin USB-c keyboard. Still have to get used to it being a little off center due to it having a trackpad on the right, but other than that it works well. It obviously doesn't quite have the feel of an Apple key board--it's noisier and feels cheaper compared to my macbook, but it does a good job. Set up was very easy on my Mac: Just plugged it into my computer's usb port and it had pop p asking to connect and press keys two keys and select the keyboard. That was it. Outwardly, It's very thin and sleek and fits right in with the Apple/Mac aesthetic, and unless you look closely it could be hard to tell it wasn't an apple keyboard. The bottom has a metallic bottom to it which adds weight to the keyboard does make it heavier than it outwardly looks. I'm not sure that the extra weight is needed, but maybe it's preferable to some people. I like that it's wired and doesn't have the additional complication of Bluetooth and connecting and charging a battery, etc, when I don't need it. I am using this with a laptop and monitor. This has the function hot keys activated by default, and has a slew of additional keys that function as shortcuts that don't have dedicated visible keys on my MacBook. For example, with the click of keys you can page up. page down, save, print screen, zoom in and zoom out, which I don't have on my MacBook. I'm not sure how often I will actually use the numerical pad, but it's nice to have the separate arrows and other keys on the side. The only things I wish for were that the command key be larger like it is on the Mac keyboards (it's just a regular key size on this) and that it have a backlight to work in the dark with. But alas, Apple’s own external keyboard doesn’t have a backlight option. Macally seems to have a slightly offering with backlighting, so I probably would have been happier with that one. Something I like about Apple keyboards is the ability to buy aftermarket keyboard covers skins to protect and keep the keyboard clean and prevent dust and crumbs and what not from getting in. I wish something similar were included or available. Read more

Stopped working at less than two months of use. It does feel overall light and easily bent. Functionality while it was working it was great. I jumped back and forth between Mac and Windows fairly seamlessly. Got a full refund after return, I'll be looking at spending money for something a little more substantial. Read more
