This may have been made from a thin jersey fabric, so maybe to other people it looked cheap, but by god I loved this skirt. It was the best skirt I ever owned until an unfortunate bleach accident. It was super comfortable because of how stretchy it was and incredibly flattering to my body shape because of the touching. I bought my usual size 2X and it fits as expected, but it’s a little long. It goes slightly past my calves with it going completely over my stomach. I’m 5’3” though. I actually prefer my pencil skirts to go past my knees bc I have issues with them riding up as I walk. So this length helps it to never rise up too high. My main issue is that the material is rather thin and a little sheer. It’s not so bad that I need a slip or am embarrassed to wear it out, but I will only buy these skirts in darker colors. This was in the gray. I bought the gray to test before I purchased several other colors. I’m sad that I’ll have to pass on the pastels which are the main colors I wanted. Also before I purchase more, I will have to see how it holds up after a few washes. Other than that, the stitching is fine and it’s very comfortable. I was worried about the fit and whether it would work for how I wanted to wear it. I bought this skirt to wear as a tube top with a blazer and jeans for a nice business casual look and it is perfect for that look. The elasticity and ruching make the fit of it and the look great for my body type, I’m 5’4” and average size. The length is also great for wear as tube top. I will be ordering more colors. I was hesitant to purchase clothes, especially a skirt from Amazon but I went on a bit of a spree and have found some good picks. This is one of them. I am 5’9 and usually wear a size 22/24 in pants. I ordered this in XXXL and it fit well. No squeezing needed and it came down right below my knee (I woke it just above the belly button). I recommend it for anyone that needs a good basic staple that can be dressed up or down. My one caution is the sheerness. If you are wearing solid colors you are free to parade around. However be careful with patterns as they’ll show right through this one. Read more

Let me start by saying I am a MASSIVE woman. I am over 300lbs and 1/4 shy of 6 feet tall. I ordered the 3xl. When I see something as long I assume it'll fit me like a normal person. I was wrong to assume that with this. It is actually long. I can't imagine it wouldn't be floor length on the average height woman. That was with it hiked all the way up to my chesticals. Mkay. Anywho. It is thin but soft. It isn't sheer but with the light shining through you can see your naughty bits soooo spanx obvi. Be prepared to hike this bad boy up to your whohas if you're looking for an actual pencil skirt. I would have given it 5 stars because something advertised as being long actually being long on me is a major plus but it is way longer than advertised. Super disappointing. I cannot put into words how brilliant this skirt is. I got it in black and loved it so much that I ordered it in every other color, plus got a black back-up. It is SO comfy and flattering. I am 6 feet tall and I can wear this high-waisted and it's still long enough for me to feel comfortable (i.e. mid-calf). The great thing about the ruched fabric - apart from how flattering it is - is that you can pull the skirt up as high as you'd like and it will stay and look perfect. This is an incredible garment, and especially for the price! I haven't washed it yet so can't attest to how the color or fabric hold up, but at this price, I will keep buying them as long as I need to. Read more
