I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these pillow covers. The fabric is thick and they are well made. After a couple months of use, the fabric is holding up well with a family of 4 plus pets. I have bought more than my share of throw pillow covers on Amazon. When I saw the price of these for two I didn't have very high expectations because usually the price is double. I was very pleasantly surprised at not only the great quality but the thickness of the material - nothing about this is flimsy. What I love is that the zipper is about 5 inches down which makes it much easier to put the pillow inside without tearing the zipper. I used 18x18-inch pillow inserts and it fit perfectly. If you look at the product listing photos where they show just the material, that gives you a better indication of the ivory color - they're almost between Ivory and a beige. I did take a photo however I think my photo they look a little bit darker than what they are in person. Also in my photo it looks a little plain, but in person you can see the linen material which makes it look more expensive than it actually is. These go perfectly with our sofa. Thought they were going to be too small but the old pillows fit just fine. Zipper works great and material is a nice woven fabric. These could easily be embellished with big wooden buttons or embroidery if you like. Read more
