I ordered these for my son to wear to track practice. He’s very apathetic to clothing usually, but after the first time wearing these he came home and asked me to order more. He says they’re light, stretchy, and don’t ride up or feel stiff when he’s running his drills. He likes shorts that aren’t too short, and these hit about two inches above his knees. They run true to size. He is 6 ft and 165lbs and wears a large. A medium is probably his true size, but he likes his shorts a little on the bigger side. There’s a drawstring that helps keep them tight and secure at the top. They also dry quickly after practice. The hidden zipper pocket is handy for holding his ear bud case. As someone in my 50s, I was initially a bit hesitant about the 5 inch inseam, fearing they might feel a bit too retro. However, I was pleasantly surprised. They look fantastic and offering a modern athletic fit without being too revealing. Even my wife gave them the sales approval, noting that they finally solved the baggy seat issue I have with most of my other shorts. The elastic waistband and drawstring combo is comfortable and secure. They stay in place without digging in. I’m impressed by the pocket depth they easily accommodate my iPhone Pro Max without feeling like it’s going to slide out the moment I sit down I did a thorough check and couldn’t find a single loose string or frayed seam. They are put together very well. The color is vibrant and exactly as pictured. These have officially earn a spot in my weekly rotation once the weather warms up. If you’re looking to upgrade from bulky oversized shorts to something more tailored and high-quality I highly recommend these the sizing is pretty spot on as well. These shorts feel very nice and lightweight right out of the package. The material is comfortable and breathable, making them well suited for workouts, running, or casual wear. They do not feel heavy or restrictive, which is a big plus during more active movement. There are no back pockets, and the hidden zipper pocket is only on the right side. The zipper pocket is useful for securing small items like keys or a card, but it would have been more convenient to have storage options on both sides or at least a balanced layout. One issue I noticed is that the middle tends to ride up during activity, which felt awkward and required occasional adjustment. This may come down to personal fit and body type, but it is something to be aware of. It feels odd to label an inexpensive pair of shorts as "perfect", but that's honestly what these shorts are for me. They are extremely light and ridiculously comfortable. I have learned recently that I prefer a shorter length in shorts; I don't like shorts that hang all the way down to the knees, or below. So a 5 inch pair of shorts is about perfect for me, personally, as they hang just above knee length and don't inhibit movement at all. These are durable shorts that I use for workouts and playing basketball and football with my kids all the time. They also get a lot of use just lounging around the house because of how comfortable they are. The zippered pockets are nice, even though I rarely have the need to zip them (the shorts don't make keys and wallets fall out easily like some do). I am pretty committed to daily exercise and work my way through my athletic wardrobe fairly quickly, so I’m always on the lookout to add another element to my collection. I was really excited to come across these shorts, and loved them as soon as I took them out of the box! Here are some details: *Fantastic Design: I absolutely love that these shorts are bright, loud, and orange! I have any number of subdued black and gray shorts, but I can already tell these are going to be some of my new favorites. They’ll make a great complement to my subdued shirts and will clash marvelously with my other “loud” ones. *Great Functionality: These are very well-designed shorts. They are very lightweight and effectively wick away moisture/sweat. They’re also not so short as to come across as “short shorts”, reaching about halfway down to my knee. I also love the multiple pockets, especially the one with a zipper pouch I will use to hold my phone and keys while running. The media could not be loaded. I got a size L and the waist is 34 inches (unstretched). These shorts are made of 92% polyester and 8% spandex. This is a lightweight material - much like a swimsuit. The company is in Spain, but the shorts were made in China. There is a drawstring inside to cinch and tie the shorts. The drawstring is very heavy duty - like a thick shoelace. The stand-out feature is the pocket situation. You have two large pockets (one on each side) that are the polyester on one side and vented black material on the other. And, there is a bonus pocket on one side. That pocket can hold a phone up to 6 inches long (and 4 inches wide). Nothing will fall out of this pocket if you remember to zip it closed. The zipper is sewn in well and looks to be very durable. The main body of the suit had one flawed area inside where it should have been tied off. There are loose threads. I tied it off and cut them myself. No other parts had this type of frayed knot. These are very comfortable when I take my 10,000-step morning walks. The air flows freely and they don't get hot. The waist is also very comfortable. These are a good buy! Read more
